Christian's Hotel

The hotel's attention to detail is simply amazing! They offer a complimentary shuttle service to/from the station. Upon arrival, they met us with a sign, and once in the car, thoughtfully provided wet wipes, peony flower cakes, and fruit. After we returned from hiking Laojun Mountain, they brought us steaming hot dumplings and hot and sour noodles. What truly moved us was that they even provided a foot bath basin, herbal foot soak packets, and a thermos of hot water to help us quickly recover from the day's fatigue. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied, including sashimi and large prawns. Local specialties like beef soup with bread and Hu La Tang (spicy and sour soup) were also excellent. When they dropped us off at the station, they surprised us with small souvenirs and apples. Truly, they think of everything and go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. What's even more impressive is that not a single employee asked us for a good review!

This is the only hotel I've ever felt compelled to review, and it truly is outstanding. None of the attractions we visited in Luoyang impressed us as much as this hotel did. The breakfast was phenomenal – we ate until we were absolutely stuffed. And the service, I must say, was incredibly responsive to every request and so thoughtful. Should we return to Luoyang, we would absolutely choose this hotel again.

Beyond satisfied, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The value for money is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and all the staff are incredibly well-trained and thoughtful. I rarely write hotel reviews, but this place is an absolute must-praise. I genuinely hope the hotel continues its outstanding management philosophy. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the station is provided, and daily snacks are available for order. Housekeeping even noticed my partner's habit of hand-washing clothes and proactively placed a drying rack in our room. Thoughtful little amenities and gifts were also provided to make guests' travels more convenient. Even external food deliveries are brought directly to the room by a robot. In the afternoons, the hotel even sells some of its delicious meals by the street, which are popular with local residents. The overall experience was absolutely superb – a resounding thumbs-up! To top off this wonderful trip, during our entire stay in Luoyang, we used ride-hailing services. The drivers were all exceptionally polite, didn't engage in idle chatter, drove smoothly and quietly, and their cars were spotlessly clean and odor-free. This left us with an overwhelmingly positive impression of Luoyang!

You might not believe it, but I specifically traveled to Luoyang to stay at this hotel after seeing it recommended in a video! We were offered complimentary fruit upon pickup, and there were more fruits and snacks available to order once we arrived at the hotel. I always appreciate a room with a bathtub, and a soak after a long, tiring day was truly rejuvenating. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering seafood first thing in the morning, alongside fresh-squeezed juices. I did think a coffee machine would be a good addition. While I enjoy Americanos, not everyone does. A machine could offer espresso and, with milk, a variety of other coffee drinks. 😂 The local specialties like beef soup and *hulatang* (spicy soup) were excellent. But the service truly stood out; they went above and beyond to fulfill almost all our requests. There was a minor incident upon check-out. We checked out at noon, but around 4 PM, I received a call stating that the plastic packaging of a condom in the room had been torn open. I asked my two children, and they admitted they were curious and picked it up, even asking me what it was, which I had seriously explained to them at the time. However, I am certain they did not tear open the outer packaging. Ultimately, the hotel refunded the charge they had initially deducted. Reflecting on it, if no one else had entered the room after our checkout, it's possible a child's nail might have accidentally scratched it, but it certainly wasn't deliberately torn open. I also extended my apologies to the hotel for any misunderstanding.

The service was truly Haidilao-level! They offer 24/7 complimentary fruits, drinks, and snacks, they even offered to draw a bath for us, provided valet parking, and upon checkout, we were given a complimentary bag of refreshments for the road. Absolutely fantastic! The location is also excellent, with numerous delicious dining options within walking distance. I highly recommend the Xiaojie potstickers, grilled lamb kidneys, and cold mixed lamb offal!

The hotel service was absolutely exceptional, to the point where you almost feel pampered! First off, they offer an airport/train station pick-up and drop-off service. For pick-up, they hold a sign, and upon entering the car, you're offered refreshing towels, special peony cakes, and sliced fruit. Inside the hotel, nearly all staff members—from the buffet service to housekeeping, and even staff just passing by—demonstrated an incredibly high level of service awareness. The only exception was two rather arrogant front desk ladies on one particular day, whose attitude was quite dismissive. Breakfast was also fantastic, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My dad was especially pleased with the salmon, and there was a wide variety of snacks available daily. On our second day, upon returning to our room after a stroll, the housekeeping staff noticed I had hand-washed some intimate apparel. She thoughtfully left a sweet note, along with some laundry detergent and hair ties. It was incredibly heartwarming! We also received small gifts every day – I got two fridge magnets, a small mirror, and a Labubu keychain. My husband joked that I was completely won over by all the little presents, but honestly, that's not the whole story; I genuinely feel the overall experience far exceeded its value for money.
