Shangshan Uezenn | Unthink Hotel Chewan Chean Homestay (Old Town Center)

This time when I came to Luoyang, I stayed in a homestay in the old town and I really wanted to recommend it to everyone! After staying for three days, I felt like I was directly integrated into local life. I must talk about this magical experience~ The location of the B&B is amazing! Turn right when you go out of the door and you will reach the Cross Street Night Market. You can go downstairs and dive into the pile of snacks in the evening. The aroma of beef soup and unstirred soup is simply amazing. But the amazing thing is that the room is extremely quiet. Once the windows are closed, you can't hear any noise at all. There are fruit stalls and convenience stores every few steps downstairs. You don't even need to turn on the navigation to buy a bottle of mineral water. The fried dough sticks and spicy soup at the breakfast shop next door are even more authentic than those at the Internet celebrity restaurants. I love sitting at the door of the B&B in the evening and watching the old neighbors chatting and waving palm-leaf fans. I instantly feel like I have traveled back to my grandmother’s house when I was a child! You don’t need to make any plans if you live here! The shared electric car parking spot is just outside the wall of the homestay. It only takes five minutes to ride to Luoyi Ancient City to take Hanfu photos. You can also stroll back in the evening and watch the light show of Yingtianmen on the way. To go to Longmen Grottoes, take Metro Line 2 directly. The subway entrance is just 300 meters away. It is faster and more economical than taking a taxi. The service here must be praised! When checking in, the front desk helped disinfect the wheels of the suitcase and also gave away packaged alcohol cotton pads. The bathroom is equipped with a disposable toilet seat, which is very friendly to my mysophobia! Every morning I am woken up by the sizzling sound of the fried dough sticks stall downstairs. In the evening, I slowly "go home" carrying the peony flower cakes. Even the auntie at the fruit stall on the corner recognizes me. With an average of 100+ yuan per person, you can lie down and watch the lights of Yingtianmen. Why would you need a bicycle? Sisters, believe me, if you want to be a "one-day Luoyang resident" when you come to Luoyang, you can't go wrong just by heading to this restaurant with your eyes closed!

Although the room is not big, it has all the necessary facilities and the decoration is quite exquisite. The homestay is located not far from Minzhu Street in Luoyi Ancient City, with very convenient transportation. My sleep was disturbed by the noise of the air conditioner on the first night. The owner adjusted the air conditioner for me personally and gave me a pair of earplugs as a gift. The service was very enthusiastic. Overall, this homestay is quite good.

The trip was rushed so I didn't take pictures of the room, but the experience was really good! The boss would personally pick me up at the subway station, and even drove me there when I had a sudden trip to Jiuzhou Pond. He is so enthusiastic! It is very convenient to go to Shizijie to eat snacks or take pictures of Hanfu in Luoyi Ancient City. It is only about one or two kilometers away.

The boss is very sincere and the service is super good. He even reserved a parking space for us before we arrived. After we checked in, we were given an upgraded room type, which was clean and tidy. The B&B is in an old residential area. The alley is a bit small and it is not easy to drive in, but the location is very good. It is opposite the Luoyi Ancient City and is close to everything. My family member sprained his foot, and the owner took me to the pharmacy to buy medicine in the evening on an electric car. It was a very warm homestay.

Except that the shower head didn't work well and the shower was not very comfortable, everything else was satisfactory. The room is very big and can sleep 4 people. There are two of us, each with a 1.8-meter bed, which is very comfortable. The room is also very big and equipped with a water dispenser, which is very convenient and hygienic, and we don't have to worry about not having enough water. It is also very convenient to travel. You can walk to the Shizijie Night Market, Lijing Gate and Luoyi Ancient City.

This is the most satisfying homestay on this trip. The room is the same as in the pictures, clean and sanitary. It is just opposite Minzhu Street, very close to Luoyi Ancient City and the subway entrance. It has a water dispenser, constant temperature shower, disposable face towels, bath towels, and toilet seat cushions. Next time I have a chance to go to Luoyang, I will choose this one
