We stayed at this lovely hotel in Luoyang for 2 nights and had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and located in a strategic area with easy access to attractions and local food.
One thing to note: On Trip.com, the hotel is listed as Magpie Hotel, but locally, it's known as Happy Inn, so this may cause some confusion.
The hotel also offers free washing facilities, which was a nice bonus for travellers with lots of laundry. The staff were friendly and helpful. They recommended great local food nearby and gave us clear directions to nearby places of interest.
Overall, it is a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely recommend it!

My recent stay at Magpie Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze—it’s nestled right in the heart of Luoyang tourist attractions, close to Ying Tianmen and public transport.
What truly stood out, though, was the outstanding service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive support throughout my stay, every detail was handled with care. The staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort, always greeting guests with genuine smiles and readiness to assist.
The rooms were clean, modern, and well-equipped, but it’s the hospitality that made this place unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a place that combines convenience, comfort, and top-tier service, Magpie Hotel is a gem. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!

Good hotel and value for money. Spacious, Quiet and clean room. The front desk staff is friendly and the service is very good. One observation that impressed me, during night time the walk way to each rooms are brightly light up with well considered carpets selection and light up design. Even though this is not 5 stars hotel but I think this is something many 5 stars hotel can benchmarking.

Excellent location near several attractions. Room was clean and service was great, only downside was that there was no aircon in the room during November period as the hotel relies on central heating system during winter period
