Bluenose Lodge

My family and I went to the Dinner Theatre and we had an absolute blast. Thank you SO MUCH for a magical evening! Everything was absolutely perfect, and we had so much fun!! As a family of 3 we so rarely get to do fun little family night time events and this was definitely the best ever. Tucking my girl into bed last night and she says, the circus was so much fun! A man gave me a flower! And proceeded to sleep with her flower in one hand (I tried to get her to leave it on the table but that was a no go) and her temperance pledge in the other. I hope her dancing wasn’t too much of a distraction but when the beat gets ya it gets ya!

Beautiful historic in. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. The staff is very friendly and the service very good. Breakfast is delicious and filling. Highly recommend. Very close walk to Lunenburg’s attractions, shops and restaurants. Easy driving distances to provincial parks where one can hike and see fascinating geological features along the coast and picturesque vistas.

I absolutely loved this boutique lodge in a historic home in beautiful Lunenburg. My room was beautifully appointed with every attention to detail. I slept so well in the amazing bed. Caleb who checked me in was so nice and helpful. He assisted with luggage and told me about a nice walking trail across the street from the lodge that was a scenic way to walk to downtown. Also about the spectacular views of Lunenburg that you can see from the golf course across the harbor. I stopped there on the way out of town. The lodge has a beautiful large dining room with windows all around. I had a delicious breakfast there included with my room. I did not have chance to have dinner there as I only stayed one night but would definitely do so again if I am ever so fortunate to be able to go back to Nova Scotia. Next time I would definitely stay two nights to further enjoy the relaxation and beauty of Lunenburg and the Bluenose Lodge.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! The staff was so friendly and did everything to ensure that our experience was pleasant ! Mark greeted us upon arrival with a smile and answered all our questions, not rushing us , while politely telling other guests he would just be a moment , while he brought us to our gorgeous room! It was very clean, bed was super comfortable ! The town is just a short walk away with several quaint shops, restaurants and bars . The breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious ! Waitress was so sweet ! Highly recommend! We hope to be back in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated inn. Within walking distance of Main Street Lunnenburg . The room was comfortable, king size bed, exceptionally clean. Innkeeper Mark was such a gracious host, available, and extremely attentive to our requests. We enjoyed the chicken schnitzel, smoked salmon, and wonderful lemon cloud cake. Two chefs hail from Austria and Germany. The kitchen definitely met our culinary needs.

We loved everything about this place. Stayed for 2 nights. Very clean, nice staff who genuinely care about your wellbeing. I really liked that it’s not in the center of town which got a little noisy at night. Very quiet here. Easy walk to town and other restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and served to you, not a buffet like some places. I highly recommend.
