healthy relaxing stay, Camiño way into Lugo
Typical balneario, emphasis on health, so a spare, clean quiet environment. We had a lovely river view from our room.

Quiescent place on the banks of the romantic river with Roman bridge . The view is unbeatable . The room is sparking clean . It is located in the sanatorium with Roman baths and rehabilitation center, some clients are elderly convalescents, which warms your heart, but it might not be for everyone’s taste.

Stayed 2 nites. First nite was a little strange. It seemed to be a location for a seniors only. Aside from the staff (who were absolutely GREAT!!!!) I seemed to be the only traveler in my age range. Overall the room was clean, breakfast was OK, its about a 15-20 min fairly aggressive uphill hike to old town.

Nice quiet place. The walls of Lugo are a 20 minute uphill hike, but doable. The river walking trails are great. The clientele of this hotel are largely elderly. The Roman baths in the basement are interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Million dollar view and it ends there…
A million dollar view, but very dated. The beds were uncomfortable. The staff was not that friendly with English speakers. The spa did not have a functioning steam or dry sauna. I cannot recommend, unless you get a river view room and just take in the Roman bridge.

We went to Hotel Balneario on May 13 for a Termas service. There were 4 employees there no one acknowledged our presence. When we asked they said you just wait there. With a line of more than 6 turns and only 1 of the 4 working, we waited for a while but decided to leave. Very rude and disrespectful attitude of their employees.

Llevamos 2 días en el balneario y después de leer algunas opiniones desfavorables, nos sorprendió encontrarnos con todo lo contrario. Está superlimpio, las instalaciones muy bien y las comidas sanas y bien preparadas .En fin, estamos muy contentos

Fuimos mi marido y yo cuatro días en Agosto 2025, la habitación con vistas bonitas al río miño y puente romano, el baño con bañera y cortina de plástico, (incomoda para gente mayor, cojimos solo desayuno que era pésimo, solo pan y bizcocho nada de bolleria, zumos industriales, fruta escasa, y de lo que se trata del balneario, controlado el tiempo en piscina, sin chorros ( solo una cascada) y 10 minutos, te sientes con el tiempo limitado para los 49 € que dura el circuito es caro. No volvería seguro 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
