Convenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily.
The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed.

From platform 1 of the train station, walk 200 meters up the slope to the hotel. If you go to Lake Lugano, you have to cross the train station and then go down the stairs. The hotel is beautiful, clean and has a swimming pool, but it's a pity that we didn't have time to swim. recommend.

We loved it & the location was excellent & room was very nice with a balcony. The only complaint is that there was a refrigerator in the room & it did not work. We discovered this after we had put food in at night and in the morning it was a bit smelly.

Due to illness in our group, we had to do a lot of rescheduling which involved extending our stay several times. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location quite near the train station is superb if you want to use the hostel as a base for exploring Ticino.

Last minute booking here after I missed my train and had to suddenly rearrange travel plans. Staff super friendly and the lady even stayed late to let me in and kept good communication by email. I had a lovely big private room with comfortable bed and a sink. The hostel is in a superb location and in lovely grounds (I wish I had been able to stay long enough to use the pool!). As it is a hostel the facilities were fairly basic and there was some early morning noise from people as my room was next to reception (get a room upstairs if possible), but nothing unreasonable or unexpected. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to others I met on my travels

the best hostel experience of my travels. the hotel rooms are on the upper floors of a beautiful Villa right behind the Lugano train station (5 minute walk). the hostel rooms are in the cellar. one communitity bathroom with 2 showers and 2 WC and 3 separate rooms with bunk beds. small pillows, sheet and blanket are included. community kitchen and large fridge for food and drinks. the MOST AMAZING POOL! with sun lounge beds, small bar and towels. for a summer visit to Lugano, it is best value stay and very easy to find.
