Be aware that this is a 3-star hotel; that means: no in-room amenities like coffee, hot water, iron board. Soap/Shower Gel/Shampoo from an ”all-in-one” dispenser in the bathroom. + Lots of free parking space + The hotel lies next to a park with quiet surroundings. + My room was spacious and appeared clean. Bathroom was clean too. + The personnel was friendly. Unfortunately: - There was NO WiFi during my entire stay. Some problem that the IT at headquarters couldn't fix. This was a business trip, and having internet was crucial for my stay; I ended up using a lot of 4G data during these 3 days. IMO one can reasonably expect WiFi to be available, and I would expect to be informed if the WiFi is broken. - I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Thu - Sun). There was NO housekeeping in my room at any given time during my stay. These 2 things are the main reasons for me not coming back to this hotel another time. Then there were a number of smaller things that may or may not bother you: - They don't have any information perm/brochure/papers in the room. If you look at your keycard holder, you will see a website address where you can find info. I found that inconvenient. - Breakfast/Restaurant is in a separate building, you have to go outside and cross the yard to get there. Not ideal at 7-8am in December rain. - Breakfast is reasonable; limited choice, but good enough. - There's only one coffee machine in the restaurant and even though it was relatively quiet, there's almost always 1-2 people waiting in line for it. - Ash trays are placed next to every entrance. There are no designated smoking zones, and some people will smoke right next to the entrance. - The rooms have carpet, which I personally find less hygienic than wooden floor/parquet/laminate (particularly in a hotel room)

The hotel was very good, the hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good. Matraces of the bed were hard, but for a weekend to do well. What I missed was a multon on the matrace, lakens were straight on the matrace, head kiss soft. Shower was nice with towels shampoo and soap. Breakfast, more than enough and very good. Car could be lost in the parking garage below the hotel, but indicated when booking. From the hotel, you are right in the center. Staff is friendly

I had a great stay in that historic building right next to the market and city center. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and better quality than some budget hotels.

Unser jährliches Harley Event mit ,dieses Jahr , 180 Harley fahrenden Frauen fand im Hotel statt.. Wir hatten gestern eine große biker Party im Wintergarten .. perfekte Location. Perfekte Durchführung, klasse Buffet. Es war von A-Z toll. Super Team, super Organisation. Unfassbar wieviel Engagement und Interesse seitens der Mitarbeiter uns hier entgegen gebracht wurde. Excellent city hotel in perfect vicinity to the city centre, the train station and the German football museum! Beautiful, cozy furnished lobby and bar. Extraordinary, wonderful, varied breakfast until 12:00! Here is everything the heart wants! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean and well equipped rooms. Absolute wellness hotel. We can recommend this house of best conscience and have been allowed to spend a wonderful weekend in Dortmund here as a family (2 Erw. + 1 child)! We are very happy to come back. Continue so!
