We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The breakfast had nice "buffet" options. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved the remote controlled gated parking that allowed us to come and go as we pleased. It also gave us peace of mind that the car was safe since we kept some luggage in the car as we were traveling throughout Italy. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the old city of Lucca as this hotel is sitauted outside the city walls. I also highly recommend renting bikes since there is a bike path infront of the hotel that goes directly into town where you can bike the entire wall of the city. Lucca is a magical and majestic place. Enjoy!

First the positives, the hotel is in a great location, you can turn right and walk to the countryside or left and be inside the city walls in a few minutes. It’s really clean. The manager is lovely, I don’t speak Italian and she did her best to talk to me on English. Guests are offered free parking, this is super unusual in Italy. Negatives: The bed has a sheet plus a throw over, the throw over smelled dusty and seems they may not be cleaning them between guests. The beds are also too hard but that’s personal preference. The road outside is very busy and can be heard from the room. The bathroom has cheap soap and shower gel,. The breakfast is quite unloved - everything looks like it came from the supermarket, Swiss cheese, poor quality meat. In an area famous for meat and cheese I find this a pity, same story with the breads, less than 100m from the hotel there’s a really nice bakery, I can’t understand this. Despite my complaints, it’s not a bad place to sleep for a night or 2, I am however quite puzzled by the amount of glowing reviews.

Stayed 2 nights at the end of September. Initially booked another b&b inside the wall but didn't let us know they won't wait for us if we arrived after 7 PM until a few days before arrival. Found this b&b and spoke with Giuseppina. She was very responsive and accommodating. She even picked us up at FLR and charged us a very reasonable rate even though our flight was delayed and she waited for us more than an hour. We booked a superior double room. The room was very clean, spotless. Amenities were very good for a b&b, free bottle water in a small fridge, soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice, coffe was made to order one cup at a time. Walking to the city wall was not far, coffee shop nearby and post office located across the street with ATM - got great exchange rate . Great staff, very pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed a four night stay here for a family wedding with mother in law and sons and girlfriends. Found it very walkable to town, flat all the way. breakfast was varied and homely. The rooms were very clean and had a small hotel charm to them. but the real positive are the staff so friendly, welcoming and put themselves out. The downside of Lucca is very few taxis for the city size and not bookable apart from airport runs. On the day of the wedding my mother-in-law was very anxious about not getting there as couldn't get a taxi so the lady on reception took it upon themselves to drive us there in two trips......completely above and beyond. Thank you !

Beautiful blue building located about 1.5kms from the old town of Lucca. Very tastefully decorated inside, Italian style. The rooms are named after famous composers, with the best room of course named after Puccini, who was born in Lucca. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of extra pillows, excellent bathroom and shower. Staff very friendly, taking care to make you feel very welcome and they make very good coffee with breakfast. There is a spa and bikes for hire but we didn’t use either. Overall, very comfortable, stylish and friendly. Recommended. The only drawback is the distance from the old turn and restaurants, but if you’re happy to walk or cycle, then no problem.

B&B davvero spettacolare! Accoglienza speciale e trattamento famigliare anche nei giorni seguenti. Personale davvero cortese e gentilissimo, struttura rinnovata, con camere in stile ma dotate di ogni comfort, pulite e accoglienti. Colazione ricca e con vasto assortimento, dal dolce al salato. La struttura inoltre si trova praticamente alle porte delle mura di Lucca, meno di quattrocento metri. Davvero super consigliato e da tornarci.
