Gorgeous hotel located inside the city walls, really last minute booking due to our plans changing, we were so lucky to have chosen this hotel for 4 nights. Breakfast included and can also get drinks from the hotel bar. Clean and tidy hotel, cleaned every day, slight air con issue one day but was sorted by the time we arrived back to the room. Central to lots of restaurants, you won’t be disappointed we loved it here.

Very good 3 star hotel located in the busy centre of Lucca but tucked away from the noise of the Main Street. The staff were excellent, the rooms clean and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again.

My sister and I stayed at Hotel La Luna for 4 nights to celebrate her big birthday. Great location right in the city centre. All staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would certainly recommend this small and friendly hotel. Brenda

Hotel La Luna was just a lovely place to stay whilst we explored Lucca and the surrounding area. It was very well located for the Centro Storico, only a couple of hundred yards from the Piazza Antifeatro. The rooms were very comfortable (especially the beds) and were always kept clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff in the hotel and they were very attentive to guests. There was a good range of foods available for breakfast each day from pastries and cakes to boiled eggs to the traditional cooked meats and cheeses. All in all a very pleasant stay.

My friend and I loved staying in La Luna. The location is superb, and the staff are amazing! The hotel was so charming, even down to the giant room keys you can leave behind the desk. The breakfast was simple but got the job done. The beds are a little hard and pillows a little thin, but staff kept our room nicely tidy. Our AC didn’t work, so we slept with our windows open. This worked to fall asleep, but Lucca is definitely a loud city throughout the night, so bring your ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff couldn't do enough including going home to get different bandages when my sister was bitten in town. Rooms clean and spacious only downside was no air conditioning switched on although it was October but was still very warm for us Scots. Reception staff room staff night staff every single one were welcoming friendly and caring would definitely recommend this gem of a place to everyone

Excellent location to explore the lovely city of Lucca. Very friendly and welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble with 24 hr reception. We had one problem with the shower but it was responded to immediately. Lovely big room with A/C and comfy beds, with extra pillows and blankets if needed. Handy little bar near reception for the daily aperitif. Would definitely stay again.

You won’t do better for location in Lucca. People are wonderful and helpful. The fact that parking is available is remarkable but be sure to reserve. Breakfast is normal, just OK. Wifi works well. All in all, good value and a recommended place to stay.
