Lovely bed and breakfast in centre of Lucca. Well laid out breakfast,clean rooms comfy bed, nice terrace area to sit out in an afternoon.Host was so welcoming and helpful nothing too much trouble, nice recommendations for meals out. We would not hesitate to return

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at B&B Corte Toro in Lucca. Contact from Giacomo after booking was very good. We had a wonderful time there. Giacomo is an excellent host. The B&B is located in a very convenient location for everything you need in Lucca. It is on a very quiet street. We had a lovely big room; with a big bathroom with a great shower. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There are only three rooms at the B&B and they are well spread out so you hear nothing from the other guests. There are two flights of stairs up to the B&B, but the second one is quite short. I have arthritis and I had no trouble at all with the stairs. Giacomo provides a typical Italian breakfast each morning - and the items on offer change each day which was great as we stayed 9 nights. A lovely selection of assorted pastries; some of which we had never had before. There is a fridge in the breakfast area with cold drinks which can be taken and paid for at check out. This was much appreciated on hot days when we arrived back at the B&B. There is a very nice balcony area where guests can sit outside. Giacomo gave us the opportunity to leave our bags on our last day after check out, as our car to the airport wasn't coming until 18:30 - this was great for us! In conclusion; we had an excellent stay at B&B Corte Toro - we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a visit to Lucca.

Safe, spotless & superb location. Breakfast lovely. Giacomo & his mother are perfect hosts. He arranged service to and from train station & restaurant recommendations perfect. I stayed 8 nights. Love Lucca and the beautiful B&B Corte Toro

Really nice B&B, lovely room, very tastefully decorated, beautiful terrace, great breakfast. Very friendly people can’t do enough for you, recommend restaurants and booked them for us. Nice quiet location but not far from any of the major attractions.

Wonderful hospitality. very clean, small b&b in a wonderful location in Lucca. If you are looking for a hotel atmosphere this is not for you but if you enjoy a cozy family style b&b stay here. Typical Italian breakfast included in the stay. Everything we were looking for.

Giacomo is a wonderful host and his B&B is perfect for seeing all that Lucca has to offer. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and fresh, and the added touches make this place feel special. The location is perfect for seeing the historic Lucca, and Giacomo was helpful in offering suggestions of places to go. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay.

Abbiamo trascorso 4 piacevolissimi giorni a Corte Toro, un B&B curato in ogni dettaglio, veramente delizioso, situato in posizione strategica in una strada tranquilla a pochi passi dal centro di Lucca. Voordat wij onze geboekte en betaalde B&B on konden waren wij al geweigerd onze hond (kleine jackrussel) mocht niet mee! Hij accepteerde het niet omdat hij al (teveel) honden had. Er was geen enkel overleg mogelijk en zonder pardon werden wij op een erg agressieve manier op straat gezet! Deze man was agressief maar ook nog eens erg onvriendelijk!! Ik zou eerst 3x nadenken voordat je hier boekt. Ook tegenover andere gasten was hij erg onvriendelijk!!
