The worst hotel in Lublin, I booked this hotel for 9 days, what a orribile experience, room very poor quality furniture, curtains very dusty, beds very low almost touching the floor, extremely noisy at night, people shouting, playing football, and throwing the ball against hotel windows, no more than 4/5 hours sleep at night because of the noise, reception no helpful at all, breakfast very poor, lots of cold food, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, hard boiled eggs, no bacon, no sausage, you have to ask the waiter almost everything, and the answer was sorry this is Poland. The hotel is very central, in between the old town and the new town, but please if you are looking for holiday to relax don’t go to this hotel.

Great experience at the Vanilla Hotel in the city centre of this beautiful Polish city, an authentic hidden gem. The hotel is perfect, we had an extraordinary, big rom, with a comfy, large bed. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast was phenomenal. Loved the fried eggs and bacon and the waffles. And the location is extraordinary, you can walk to all the main highlights of the city, such as the main street, castle, old town and archcathedral. I'd come back if I was here again.

The location in old town is convenient, however you need to park a block away and roll your luggage through the street, as the entrance is in the pedestrian only area. It would have helped to know that or be given the address to the parking ahead of time, rather than driving around in circles in the dark. The room decor is dated. The breakfast was good. Vanilla hotel was ok for our one night in Lublin, but I would not stay there again.

Avoid this hotel if you can, is absolutely orribile, very noisy at night from the street, not clean enough, not changing our bed sheets for 9 days,not replacing towels, breakfast very poor, please please avoid this hotel, very old and smelly furniture in the room

Absolutely horrible experience, never again, the hotel is situated in the centre of Lublin old town, at night is extremely crowded with young people, drunk, shouting,fighting, it’s impossible to sleep at least until 5 am, then at around 6 am the council workmen start to clean the Road just outside the hotel, then the food supplies to the hotel and all the restaurant and shop start , so more and more noise, lucky if you can sleep 5 hours per night

Hotel is located in the center of the cafes and restaurants so location is the best part of it. However, the rooms were poorly decorated and the air conditioner didn’t work properly. We stayed for three nights and our room wasn’t cleaned at all. Only the rubbish was taken from the room. Breakfast was a disappointment for our group. The vegetables were not fresh, and whatever we ate the previous day wasn’t served again the next day. The lady who was working in the kitchen was quite rude and constantly complained in Polish during breakfast. She even started to clear the table while we were having breakfast. The only thing good thing about the hotel was the receptionists. They were kind and helpful. Think twice before booking a room at this hotel.

Stayed in a very large room on the 2nd floor with broken air conditioning unit, which emitted persistent sound, keeping me awake through the night. Day front desk staff was well aware of the problem, but pretended that they couldn’t hear the noise. Given that my complaint was met with bizarre giggling, I can only assume they found my obvious distress and their own gaslighting amusing. Night shift acknowledged the noise but could not get me a different room as apparently the hotel was full. I checked out the next day, so cannot say whether the issue has been fixed since. Hotel is cheap, well located, clean and their breakfast is great.
