Accommodation facilities acceptable but reception asked us to move two single beds to form a double bed even though room set out didn’t quite fit. Limited information provided on check in but did provide a kettle on request.

Nice hotel, and nice service, friendly staff, but the distance to the center was further than I realized. Due to roadworks and roadblocks, it was a pain to visit the city, and a couple of bus drivers who were absolutely not helpful did not make it any easier.

Service was utterly terrible. We "had" to wait at check-in until the receptionist finished a long-winded phone call, apparently not even for business purposes. The room was moderately "shabby," with long hair in the bathroom. Housekeeping was only available upon request, with a lengthy registration process. The parking lot was largely blocked by a bus. The location was on the outskirts of the city. Two nights was already too much of a price increase due to the Travemünde Sailing Week.

Very large and well-kept rooms, great amenities, including a microwave and two hotplates in the room. The location is a bit out of the way (about a 45-minute walk from the center) but very quiet. A big plus is the public parking directly across the street.

I stayed at Tryp Hotel for two nights with my dog.
Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. The bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom, the TV ran without any problems with great programs. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired for me - bread, rolls and other pastries, coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, juices, various types of sausage and cheese, jams, honey, etc., cereals, muesli, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, Hot dog...
The dog wasn't allowed in the direct breakfast room because it was an open buffet, but there was an adjoining room where he was allowed or, when the weather was nice, on the terrace, which is directly adjacent to the breakfast room.
There are free parking spaces directly at the hotel.
I will definitely come back when I'm in Lübeck again.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet in the hallway of the hotel on the 2nd floor has not been vacuumed for 4 days. Because it is not cleaned daily, the tile joints look dirty. The tiles are dull from limescale. All in all, pretty run down. The breakfast was very good. Basically everything that belongs at breakfast was there. The service staff there was also very friendly. Reception very dependent on their mood on the day. The hotel is outside of Lübeck city center but is always easy to reach with 3 bus lines.
