We stayed here for 2 nights in december, and we enjoyed this quirky hotel. It was different from everything else we've tried before. Our room was very spacious with both a small hallway, a big bedroom and a huge bathroom with a nice tub. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and is very true to the style of the old building. The host couple were very nice and welcoming, and they told us about the history of the place while showing us to our room. The breakfast was okay, but maybe we had expected something out of the ordinary because of the surroundings. Only complaint would be that the hotel was rather cold and drafty. Thats life in old buildings. The sleeping comfort was good. There is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre, so don't let the location of the place scare you off. Close to the hotel you will find the "Sudden Death Brewery", and it is absolutely worth a visit.

Peter and Annette were excellent hosts and very patient with our loud and clumsy son. The house has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. It was very interesting to hear its history from Peter on our arrival and also its place in the history of lubeck. Our room was beautiful and huge. It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the Holstentor, there is a cycle route which would be really quick. I would definitely recommend the hotel as a lovely place to stay with a very interesting history and they have been clever in hiding its slightly industrial location.

We stayed at your hotel in the weekend 9/12-22-11/12-22. We loved everything about it. The hostees was always sweet and very helpful. The room was like living in a fairytale - so beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was fantastisk. We will forever keep our stay in a spesial place ind our hearts and will revisit another time.

If you start planning your vacation by studying Google Maps and dismiss this hotel due to the surroundings, you miss a great opportunity for a classy and different experience. The owners bought the small Schloss Bellevue in 2014 – after the magnificent park had been sold, and the castle had been neglected for by various owners for centuries. Now, they live in one part of the castle, while most of it has been changed into 12 luxurious rooms and suites. They are kind, welcoming and professional, and they care about their small haven and their customers. Breakfast is late, 8:30, but since most people come here for a getaway, not for business purposes, it is fine. Especially when the breakfast is prepared with such care and variety as it was. We stayed in one of the suites, where there was a small kitchen with the essential tools, and everything was as luxurious as the website promised. We will happily come back another time.

We have stayed in many hotels in Germany, but this is definitely the best, friendliest, most beautiful we have stayed at. delicious, breakfast, beautiful nicely decorated rooms and close to town. It is a beautiful mini castle, we would definitely recommend. Very safe compared to covid-19.

Unsere Erwartungen an das Hotel waren hoch, denn die NDR-Reportage hatte viel versprochen. Wir konnten nicht ahnen, dass jede unserer Erwartungen übertroffen wurde. Das Haus wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail und viel Herzblut geführt, dass man sich nicht wie in einem Hotel sondern wie bei Freunden , vielleicht sogar wie zu Hause fühlt. Das Haus selbst kann man nicht beschreiben, man muss sich selbst ein Bild davon machen. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ein absoluter Geheimtip für einen Aufenthalt in der Hansestadt Lübeck. Ein liebevoll restauriertes Palais mit individuell gestalteten Zimmern und einer wunderschönen Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr charmant und kümmern sich persönlich um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Keine Frage: wir kommen gerne zurück.
