Hampton Inn & Suites Lubbock Southwest

The bathroom ceiling paint was peeling and the bath tub was stained, as well as the fixtures. Very out dated and run down. The staff was friendly tho. Also, carpet was worn and I need of replacement.

Nice hotel but uncomfortable bed Hotel in great location. Friendly staff and check in efficient. Lobby and breakfast area clean. Room clean, except for bathroom. Very obvious housekeeping does not maintain the corners of the room and paint was peeling off the bathroom shower ceiling. The hotel halls and the rooms doors are in need of a paint job as there are black marks everywhere. The biggest con is the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and this hotel uses those small square bed pillows. Hotel was nice enough, but I would probably choose a different hotel next time just so I could get a good nights sleep.

Happy Customer Very good place to stay. Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and area very clean. Easy to get to plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants and shopping all around.

Mixed Experience – Amazing Staff, Poor Room The staff at this hotel were truly exceptional—kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the room itself didn’t reflect the same level of care. It was noticeably dirty and in need of serious maintenance. There was chipped paint, rusted door hinges, and an overall outdated feel that just didn’t match the price point. For what I paid, I expected a much cleaner and better-maintained space. The friendliness of the staff made the experience more bearable, but the hotel itself really needs an upgrade to meet expectations.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was welcoming, and the overall experience was excellent. The breakfast in particular was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to choose from. The only small downside was that housekeeping didn’t come by the next day to change the bed sheets or take out the trash, which we expected. Still, everything else about our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely return.

A comfortable hotel It seems to be a newer facility. It’s a little harder to get to but it’s quiet and comfortable. They were having internet issues but handled it professionally.
