The room was very clean and the owner was very friendly, which was worth the price. It was convenient to book a car to go to the station, waterfall, etc. But it is indeed a small inn with old facilities. For me, who only requires cleanliness and does not care about other things, it is good enough.

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is in a super good location with a clean environment. It is located on the busiest street in the ancient city of Luang Prabang, at the entrance of the night market. The night market starts at 4 pm at the entrance of the hotel. There are local barbecue, beer, snacks, and Laotian hot pot. You can go shopping after eating. There are many local products. If you keep walking along the night market, you can see many French restaurants and Laotian massages. You can see the Mekong River at the intersection. In the morning, at 5:10 Lao time, you can see the alms at the entrance of the hotel, or you can participate in the alms yourself. After the alms, go up the mountain opposite to the Puxi Mountain to watch the sunrise. After watching the sunrise, you can go to the morning market. The morning market is two minutes away from the hotel entrance, very close! The morning market has local breakfast vegetables, fruits, coffee, juice, Chinese buns, fried dough sticks, soy milk, everything! Turn left at the entrance of the hotel for a few minutes to the Grand Palace, opposite is Puxi Mountain and the Mekong River. The overall transportation is very convenient! Several attractions are a few minutes away. The boss is Chinese and very warm and friendly. The front desk guy provides very good service.

I came here with my friends. On the way, I heard someone say that this store is a great value. The same room across the street costs more than 500. The boss gave me a huge discount. You can also rent a battery car from the boss and exchange it for Lao currency. It's also clean and has a big garden. The boss also introduced delicious restaurants. Opposite is a temple attraction, and next to it is the French-built iron bridge, which is very historical. It is said that the house is an old house built in the colonial period and renovated. Highly recommended!

A quiet cozy hotel near Mekonga and the city center. Officials speak good English if you have questions - boldly write them to the mail, they will answer. Cleaning was every day, towels were changed constantly, which is not in every hotel. The view from the window as such was not, but we did not sit in the hotel ourselves. A confident wi-fi signal. They provide booking services for tours, taxis, washing, etc. Any question - and the guys will give a maximum to help. At the bottom, on the respiratory, there is a free tea\coffee\cooler with water. There are also tables where you can just sit in silence. There is everything you need in the room, even the refrigerator. I definitely recommend it!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at anlan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms. Every corner of my room was spotless, and the attention to detail was remarkable. It felt like I was the first guest to ever stay in that room! The bed was incredibly comfortable, with fresh, crisp linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. The modern amenities, from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the well-appointed bathroom, made my stay even more enjoyable.
Despite the top-notch quality, the room rates were incredibly affordable, offering unbeatable value for money. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers such high standards without breaking the bank, but Anlan manages to do just that.
The location was also ideal—just a short walk from nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Anlang provides everything you need for a comfortable and stress-free stay.
If you're looking for a hotel that combines cleanliness, affordability, and exceptional service, look no further than [Hotel Name]. I can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Luang Prabang!

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

GGuest UserI cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!
JJason2023Nice setting with lotus ponds and bridge, lots of trees, flowers, gravel winding paths and hidden seating areas.
The pool is small but had lots of available comfy seating and was very clean.
Breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the service and food were excellent. The menu has lots of options.
Excellent service from reception to housekeeping - the complimentary water, fruit baskets and night time cookies were appreciated.
Free bicycle hire and reception can organise trips.
The location is okay, a 5-10 minute walk to the main area but that gives you an experience of local life as you pass through the narrow streets.
There was some road noise - motorbikes etc but im not sure where you can avoid this in Luang Prabang or even SE Asia. If you are bothered by it, ear plugs will be useful.
No noise from any neighbours.
The room was a good size with a big balcony overlooking the gardens. Lots of stuff provided e.g toiletries, safe, tea, 3 in 1 coffee - you don't need to bring. (Cant remember seeing a razor but tbh hotel ones are never good so i bring my own).
TIP: try not to rely on ATMs here, the charges are expensive. Either bring your own currency and exchange at one of the banks here (i got a good rate) or bring Kip. Many places also accept Thai baht and some US $.
The hotel has water so being mosquito spray (housekeeping also offered this).
XXIAOKUIThis hotel has special meaning to me so I won't give a low score. But the impression of the little girl who may be the boss at the front desk is very common, and I hope she can't understand this passage. Don't trouble me when I stay next time. The breakfast is really good, and sitting on the terrace to eat breakfast is the most enjoyable moment.
GGuest UserThis hotel and Laos in general were a complete and utter positive surprise and experience. Booked last minute due to prior flight cancellations in Bangkok, this was a real treat.
From the moment we stepped in (prior to checkin time I’ll add) we were warmly greeted by the team with a lovely welcome beverage and a room upgrade with early checkin. Next the staff helped us arrange our entire 24h in Luang Prabang to ensure we maximised the trip, organising every detail from the driver to towels for the waterfalls.
The room was gorgeous, upstairs overlooking the pond with nice touches including free local beer. The bathroom was gorgeous with nice scented oil.
Breakfast was good.
Everything about this trip and hotel surpassed our expectations, especially for the price point. Highly highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe hotel was clean, employees were very helpful and kind. They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.
AAnonymous UserThere was construction right at the door. It was noisy from 8 a.m. until late, and the yard couldn't be quiet. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. Don't be misled by the photos. The room is not well ventilated, there are mosquitoes, the air conditioning is not good, and the hygiene is average. I told my brother to arrange a quiet room, but it turned out to be the noisiest room near the door on the first floor. More than 300 rooms are not as good as more than 200 riverside B&Bs. All in all, the stay experience was very poor. I will not come back again and I also advise everyone to leave.
GGuest UserThe location is not bad, not far from the morning market and night market, and you can see alms around the corner. Because of a mistake, the boss gave a round-trip ticket to Kansai Falls, which is great! The color of the room is a bit dark, the room space is a bit small, and the suitcase is a little hard to open, but the bed is very big, and the guy at the front desk is very cute~ Breakfast is bread, you can eat enough!
KK.-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded.
-The room is super clean.
-The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area.
It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.
FF7686GNsallybDue to an unexpected situation, we were kindly moved from our original hotel to Villa Deux Rivieres where the management provided us with excellent, spacious accommodation overlooking the Nam Khan river. We were later moved to a different room which was also very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent as we were easily able to walk to the main shopping areas, temples and restaurants in this beautiful city. The villa is well set up for breakfast, and we enjoyed ours on the verandah overlooking the river. Although not all reception staff are fluent in English, they went out of their way to help us, especially with booking transport. We traveled to Laos in early December which was sunny and dry during the day but quite cold at night. If travelling at this time of year, consider packing a jumper and warm sleepwear. The villa organised to have laundry done for us - cheap and of a high standard.
GGuest UserEnvironment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list.
Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip.
Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles.
Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.
