Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

Flushing the toilet was too loud. The most terrible thing is that we live in the connected room of the hotel, and the sound insulation is almost non-existent. I can hear normal conversations, and the next door was crazily noisy after staying for two nights, and the next door was still playing loud music in the early morning of the last night. There are not many types of breakfast but the taste is good. There are fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices. Mangoes are really delicious! I love mangoes so much! Freshly cooked rice noodles also taste good. However, it is strongly recommended not to come to Luang Prabang from February to April. The air quality is like a volcanic eruption. After we stayed for one night, we decided to give up the next Pullman and drive away in advance. The whole city is yellow, and the air is A smell of paste. Apart from that, the hotel is a good hotel and Luang Prabang is also a very good destination.

We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days. There may be something missing. We negotiated with the front desk for a long time because of a bath towel we had never seen before. Although it was solved perfectly and the attitude of the staff was very good, it took a while. Shuttle bus service: The hotel is located in a remote location, so you can only rely on shuttle buses to get into the city, but the number of buses is a little less. In addition, transportation suggestions from the train station to the hotel should be implemented in advance. The minivan from the train station cannot reach the hotel, so we spent 400,000 to charter a car alone.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Amantaka in December this year. The whole city has just bounced back from the pandemic so I had a little expectation when coming to Luang Prabang this year. However, everything at the resort was exceptional, from the moment we were greeted at the airport, to when we were warmly greeted by the members of staff as we arrive at the moment, and when we left the resort. The property was converted from a historic building but was very well maintained. It has a classic and subtle charm and feels very cosy and intimate. I really liked it so much that I didn’t want to leave once I checked in🤣I initially booked two nights, and immediately decided to extend the stay for two more nights after I checked in. From the architecture to the room design and the bread basket for breakfast, they are all full of French style. Even the keys are unique. It is still SLH and the room is large. The price is really great value! The waiters at the front desk and in the restaurant are all very nice and always say hello with a smile every time they pass by. There is a frangipani tree in front of our room, and you can pick up two of them and wear them on your head every day when you go out. The hotel has a small swimming pool and bar. It is two kilometers away from the city. There is a shuttle bus to the night market at night. If you call a taxi during the day, it will cost less than 50,000 kip.
