On the Mekong Resort

The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean with aircon and ceiling fans to ensure that you can enjoy a good night’s sleep. The breakfast is served on the terrace above the river and is both plentiful and delicious. (It’s actually the best breakfast I’ve had during the entire 3 months of travelling) The accommodation is set within beautiful grounds and features authentic Laotian architecture. It is about 30 minutes walk into the main town for tourist attractions and the resort will provide transport if needed. The in room facilities include freshly ground coffee and teas- another nice touch not experienced in other places within this category. Staff are friendly and helpful, assisting with the organising of excursions and onward travel.

Wonderful and very peaceful. Super friendly staff and guests with stunning sunsets, great breakfast, pool and super convenient transport into town. Highly recommended. Wish I could have stayed longer.

This resort has Avery good view on the Mekong river , but after that everything was average , the floors in the room has grass mats which is not very clean , the toilets are good , the staff is average they don’t remember what you tell them and keep saying sorry, the breakfast was very poor and at the breakfast table there were three dirty cats hopping form one table to another , all the cushions outside is very dirty and for the same price we stayed at another two hotels in Luna Prabang where everything was excellent , this is a hyped up property not staying in

We chose this resort mainly due to its stunning location on the banks of the mighty Mekong river. Upon arrival we were blown away with the stunning views and setting of this resort. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile and wonderful level of service. Henry the owner was equally amazing, always having time to give advice or suggestions and even drove us around Luang Prabang to help us orientate ourselves and make suggestions of places to eat and local advice. Our room was stunning and relaxing and breakfast was just incredible, not just because of the location, but freshly cooked breakfasts and out of this world pastries delivered each morning. I cannot fault this resort, from, staff, owner and setting, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived until we left. If you're looking for a tranquil and peaceful location, with out of this world location on the banks of the Mekong( I have not even mentioned the breathtaking sunset over the river) this is the place for you. You will be made to feel so welcome!! I will remember the views over The Mekong forever!

We had the most wonderful stay in this uniquely gorgeous location overlooking the Mekong river. The staff was exceptional in every way. Breakfasts were varied and delicious. We stayed in two large adjoining new suites which included everything we could have wanted. Gorgeous and spacious grounds. Loved everything about it!

This resort is a hidden gem right on the Mekong. Away from the busyness of city but still walking distance or tuk tuk few minutes to centre. Henry snd Née and the staff could not do enough for us during our stay.. we wish we could have stayed longer…highly recommend. 5 star stay.
