We never expected a Chinese-owned guest house to be so poorly run. NO amenities provided. No cleaning. Owner left just as we arrived. Room WAS what I wanted: all-wood decor, but all else was a disappointment. Their TRIP ad. says B&B. Nothing was provided. No restaurant. No bar. There are many better guesthouses in Luang Prabang.

When you come to Luang Prabang, you must stay somewhere unique. Hotels on high floors are all similar. This homestay still feels better.
First of all, the location of the B&B is very good. It is within walking distance to French Street and surrounding attractions. No need to rent a motorcycle. Just a few steps out of the door you will reach the river. Also, it's not close to the road, so there's less noise from motorcycles.
The most important thing is the B&B owner, she is very nice. Although the homestay is not large, the service provided is still great. You can still come and stay here next time you come to Labang.
