Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel

Luang Prabang City Center
I could not have been more happy with my stay. A peaceful oasis located a very short distance from the night market and other amazing attractions. The breakfasts were fantastic. Fresh fruits, juices, Lao coffee, vegatables, eggs, breads (and more) every morning. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Always greeting me with respect and huge smiles. After a long day of teaching English I could not wait to get “home” and unwind by the pool with a good book. Thank you again to the entire staff for a memorable stay. Ajan Matt
Golden Lotus Place

Luang Prabang City Center
I spend 300 nights a year in hotels, and I try to write reviews that allow readers to have accurate expectations of hotels. Golden Lotus is a fine option, but you need to know that it’s a family guesthouse ( think hostel with private bathroom ), more than a boutique hotel. The location is excellent if one wishes to be in the city center. The breakfast is adequate, albeit, a bit on the spartan side - not buffet style. I found that the property was a bit noisy, especially in the morning and evening, merely because of its setup - it’s a bunch of rooms in a house. The family that runs the place is very friendly. There is no hot water from the bathroom tap. They charge an additional 3% if you pay with credit card. If you are aware in advance that this is a humble guesthouse, then, I think you will be fine. I was a bit underwhelmed with the facilities and the breakfast, because I thought it was a boutique property. Overall, it is adequate, but nothing special. But the location is great, as is the family running it.
Sofitel Luang Prabang

I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!
Avani+ Luang Prabang Hotel

The Azerai Long Bobon Hotel was once the residence of French officials. It was once built as a new brand Azerai by Aman founder Adrian Zecha. It was later withdrawn. After the withdrawal, the discerning Minor Group took over the hotel and On March 1, 2018, it was officially renamed AVANI+ Luang Prabang. ”AVANI+” is a brand of Minor Hotel Group. Hidden away in the city, Avani is right at the entrance to the night market. It is in a strategic location. You can easily explore the world heritage town of Luang Prabang whether by bicycle or on foot. The hotel provides free shuttle tutu service within 2 kilometers. The entrance to the hotel is the only way for monks to pass by, and the hotel will also provide free sticky rice to guests who want to experience alms. The room arranged by the hotel was an upgraded open-plan suite, which was very spacious, with a huge garden, a large portion of welcome fruit, and homemade wine at turndown time. It was originally a perfect check-in experience, but in the end, a small flaw was left by the carelessness of a front desk clerk: when I checked in, it was confirmed that I would check out at 4 pm the next day. At around 12 o'clock the next day, the waiter called to urge me to check out. house. Many plugs in the room are loose and unusable, and they probably need to be replaced.
Hotel Villa Maydou

Lovely and charming hotel with spacious rooms in authentic and historic buildings, next to a temple and a short distance from the heart of the city which added to the overall charm. The staff were very helpful. Special thanks go to the owners, Noy and Patrick, for their professionalism and courtesy, which was much appreciated. This establishment is highly recommended for its delightful ambience, very good service and convenient location.
Pullman Luang Prabang

Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.
