I will start with the good things. My daughter loved the decor downstairs. Breakfast was nice, plenty to eat and choose from. Staff friendly. Rooms a bit tired, not really in keeping with the rest of the property. Beds are very soft, and the bathroom has a non obscured window, which makes it not very private. The shower wasn't very powerful. the bathroom could do with updating. If the window is open in the bedroom, terrible drain smell. Parking, okay, 1st come 1st serve.

I saw this accommodation advertised on the WRAC facebook page and made a late booking. I had a wonderful restful three days there in a seaview room. I enjoyed sitting by the window on an evening watching the sea. The owners and staff were brilliant, so thank you to Ash, Cas and Andy who cooked up a great breakfast. An added bonus was an evening of songs and stories by the Chelsea pensioner Colin Fackerey. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We often visit The Kitcheners for events and we absolutely love it. If your looking for somewhere to stay in the Lowestoft area then The Kitcheners is perfect. Ash & Caz and their staff will go out their way to make you as comfortable as possible and make sure you have a fantastic time. The whole set up is just brilliant and the location is perfect for families as it's right opposite the beach and the pier. All round great place to visit and stay. Thank you to all the team at The Kitcheners for all they do.

This place is like a home from home. The Veterans and Blue Light breakfast clubs are a real bonus to the town and a massive credit to the staff, management and volunteers. Our group has benn coming every month for three years now, in varying amounts. I've been to some excellent talks and events here too and feel really welcomed every time - and there's always a greeting when I am spotted out abd about too! Love the place.

Great welcome, friendly staff and delicious food. Thanks to Ash and Caz for the hospitality. Regular special event nights throughout the year and popular for vets and blue light breakfasts. Fascinating building packed with military memorabilia and outstanding decor. A truly unique location overlooking beautiful beaches and easily walkable picturesque promenades. Great parking and fully accessible. A true gem on the East Coast giving great value for money.
