Dupont Motels

Ok so got there unbooked but phoned number on door as vacancies sign was lit no actual person on site.was only 7.00 o'clock. . Confusion over location . And unable to get key out of stupid box outside in the rain. So got soaked. Got to room nice room but windows all open and rainy. Stayed ok. But wasn't sure if I'd be back so kept key (only stayed for a few hrs 4 a sleep. ). Then next day get phone call regarding key. Operator very rude. But got key on its way bk to them that day. As lived out of area. Then get another rude call complaining and to say they charge me 4 key. On an over priced poorly run motel they Then helped themselves without permission to my bank account. For Money 4 a returned key . Not put bk. Either. Certainly under any circumstances will i be back.

We booked through the motel as were needing to arrive at 10.30pm from Rotorua. We quoted Agodas price of $164 and they said $169 so we said yes. The place stunk of too much deoderiser, moths everywhere due to the light left on in the bathroom and window open, so slept with moths flying around. The shower the next morning had to be hand held due to the rod that holds it had a missing clip. When I emailed and complained about the state of the room they said I can't get any refund back as needed to raise the issues on arrival. We checked in at 10.30 to a key in a lock box... no one was around. Then i go into my credit card account and they charged me $182.40.... what the heck!!! We went back to complain in person today and he quoted me a different price plus surcharge. I said you can't do that and showed them the price on Agoda. Now he says he can't refund as he's not the boss. We said to talk to the boss and refund immediately as they can't take more than what they quoted. We are going to the Commerce Commission if they don't reply or refund. Terrible place to stay. Never again.
