Hotels near Oberzell Nunnery in Lower Franconia

A nostalgic hotel in the style of 60/70 years. Within the center. The associated parking space is located between two streets in the courtyard. I just find it great :))) and hope the hotel manager knows what she has for a treasure and also appreciates it. And I hope there is nothing to modernize! Modern we have enough, but this here, That has style ... I would like to thank the former owner for so much effort to put something like this on his feet, but unfortunately she doesn't live anymore. It's nice that there are people with so much sympathy and respect for the past. I would like to thank you at this point at the kitchen fee, which has enchanted us every morning a fantastic breakfast, including a small, Italian. Also the coffee was perfect. If again Aschaffenburg, then just here! :)

Very nice hotel: clean, reasonably spacious room with a good bathroom. Handy location near the train station and at the same time fairly close to the center. The green tones are present throughout the hotel, both in the room and downstairs in the lobby (which is partly the breakfast room). This is typical of Ibis Styles, which exudes just that little bit more individuality compared to the other Ibis hotels. It was very nice to sit in the lobby in the evening and have a free cup of tea: this increased the already pleasant relaxed a**osphere that we experienced in the hotel. The air conditioning was nice to have in the room, but had a minimum temperature of about 25/26 degrees so it just didn't cool down enough in the room. Attempts to change this by pressing buttons failed, as we would be 'not authorized' to operate the buttons. Was this perhaps a policy to limit energy consumption in view of global warming and high energy prices? (probably a defect that can be solved by the technical service) The service was fantastic, especially at the check-in on August 18 (very friendly lady). The breakfast is not exceptionally extensive, but good enough. All in all a nice experience, and we will definitely come back if we have to be in northern bavaria for whatever reason.

The Moxy is a modern and smaller middle-class hotel mainly for tourists and groups. Publics are mixed but target group rather U40. Breakfast is ok, but below MotelOne level. Not very far to the HBF and the city centre, but the view of our room went to a highway and an unattractive residence/market area. There were also not the wine mountains in the distance. Rooms OK, but windows could not open. We were stayed here during a bike tour and would not recommend this inpersonal hotel for a longer stay (we were there two nights). If already chain with acceptable prices, then Motel One.

Despite Corona, everything was fine here. Beautiful large room where you could still work well. Also the breakfast service was pleasant and premature, the offer was varied. A small table lamp or lamp above the table would be a good supplement. The car can also be well accommodationd in the nearby parking house at the standard price.

We were on our city trip to a B&B hotel for a repeated time. But this time we had a little trouble with the room(103). Also a very large balcony to the wine mountains. Unfortunately, there is only a very small open box. Double bed booked - get two single beds moved together. Room cleaning only if the card is hanging on the door - and it takes a long time to make it. When you are back in the room, you will be asked to go to the balcony in the meantime. No fresh towels ... Spa area very nice, especially the sweeping beds are very pleasant. Swimming area with massage dishes beautiful and sufficient. Sauna area nice. Breakfast: very good coffee in various variations, juices good, good cheese and sauce choice. The foods offered are good but there is nothing special (no salmon, no glass sect). The hotel is still very new and wants to work modernly. The stay was ”OK” as a whole, but no more.
