We had a great stay at the Orchard House! The Thatchers are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. Even though we were only there one night, it was super relaxing and a great experience. We’d definitely recommend the early check in to give you some more time at the pool. We’d also highly recommend the extra option for dinner! It was so awesome to be able to enjoy a delicious three course dinner on the front porch overlooking the vineyard and not have to go out to eat. The breakfast in the morning was equally delicious as dinner and a great start to the day. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away, this is it!

My daughter and I took a mini-vacation and spent two nights there. It was WONDERFUL. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast room was so cozy and quaint, and the breakfast was excellent . Sarah, Caleb, and family are very gracious hosts. We will back!

We decided to try Orchard House Bed and Breakfast, after staying in several other locations in the area. The B&B itself is absolutely adorable, and the rooms are a perfect balance of century-old charm combine with modern amenities. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, each breakfast seem to be an attempt to top the breakfast from the day before. This B&B is conveniently located along US-29, right in the middle of Nelson and Amherst County Wine Country. We have already booked rooms for my 60th birthday party weekend this coming December.

My husband and I spent a few nights here to enjoy some quiet time away and this beautiful spot did not disappoint! The house is lovely, very quiet, our room was so beautifully done and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, as well as the incredible breakfasts! The family is lovely-we will be back!

Charming home and even more charming Hostess. The room was comfortable and quiet. The grounds were interesting to walk with lots of trees and flowers. Breakfast on both days was delicious and unique. My wife and I would definitely return.

The best part of this B &B are the owners. They treat you like family or old friends. The breakfast’s are incredible and fill you up for most of the day. They are also very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Can’t wait to go back this fall or winter

Great warm welcome by Sarah the owner. Beautiful well appointed room, comfortable bed. Very family oriented. Met Sarah's mom, who prepared a fabulous breakfast and her dad who was making enhancements to the pool. We enjoyed the area and spent time and sampled wine at Lovingston Winery. Owner on site, very friendly. Dinner at Vitos Italian restaurant. Great entries, Great desserts and reasonably priced.

From beginning to end my husband & I had the most incredible experience here at this bed & breakfast! The warm & welcoming hosts elevated every moment to pure luxury. We can’t thank them enough for making our 5 yr anniversary truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!
