Absolutely wonderful, charming, quiet little place. The view from the balcony was incredible: the river, the town, the castle, the Pyrenees, and of course the Basilica and associated buildings. It was just a few minutes' walk to the Grotto. The room itself was lovely. Bed very comfortable. Antique furniture including sitting chairs and a desk. The bathroom was more than sufficient. Breakfast is homemade by the owner every morning, and is superb, featuring a little bit of everything you could want. We stayed three nights and could not be happier with the experience.

We were delighted with every aspect of our two-day stay here. Our room (Gavarnie) was very spacious and comfortable and had a balcony with a great view of the river and the nearby Domaine. Bathroom was large with an excellent shower. Very peaceful location, all that could be heard was the sound of the river flowing which we found to be quite soothing. Our host Cécile was very welcoming and attentive and provided us with breakfasts which were truly spectacular - probably amongst the best we've ever had in France. Free parking just outside the house. A really memorable stay and we hope to come back here one day.

The Villa is only 10 minutes walk to the sanctuary and you can actually see the sanctuary from the balcony in the room; watched the aux flambeaux rosary procession at night. We had room Aspin which is very spacious with authentic old furniture and stained glass in the bathroom. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast is abundant and varied every day. The WiFi was consistently good. Parking outside was always available. Madame Cécile, our hostess, made us feel at home from beginning till end. I recommend Villa l’Orante to anyone who wishes for a memorable stay.

I am staying here right now. A renovated mansion, this place is special. My room is spectacular. Antique decor with today's amenities. Spotless!. Superb breakfast. Kind, gentle, helpful owners. I would not stay anywhere else when I return to Lourdes. Perfect location. A couple of minutes from the Santuary. Just perfect.

How we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Cecile our host. Stayed for 4 nights at a time when Lourdes is just beginning to wake again for the summer time. The villa is just beautiful, restored lovingly buy the owners over the past few years and it is just charming. It is quiet and peaceful. Cecile keeps and eye but doesn't intrude. She provides everyone with a very well presented and prepared breakfast experience. Her rooms are so unique and spotlessly clean. Its a short walk into the grotto from the villa. Do yourselves a favour and pay Cecile a visit if you intend to visit Lourdes, you wont be dissapointed.

The place is simply amazing. Cecile is an excellent host. Room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a good view of the sanctuary. The place is walking distance from the gate. Cecile prepared a sumptuous breakfast. Would love to go back to Lourdes and stay at Villa L’Orante.

If the goal is to visit the Basilica this is the place to stay. If you are looking for comfort and stunning surroundings, forego the venue. It is a renovated villa, owned by a lovely couple who do their best to make guests feel comfortable. No elevator! Older building, narrow stairs. This worked for us because we had limited time and came with a tight agenda. Coffee pot in room & bathrobes. Stunning view from balcony of the Basilica & Fort. The sounds of the running river were a bonus for us as this was a mini-retreat. For North Americans, you have to come with open mind and able to lift / carry own luggage up & down flights of stairs.

Magical place, breakfast was just an amazing, with so many choices supplied but local food providers, just Superb Room have air-con Bed very comfy, modern shower Close to town but little away from the main traffic made our stay very pleasent. Thank you ＜3
