Holiday Inn Express & Suites Louisville Downtown

Great location and friendly staff. Spent one night with the family and breakfast was exceptional. Very clean. Only one issue is the exhaust fan in one of the bathroom wasn’t working. Strongly recommend this hotel.

This was one of my best hotel stays. The entire hotel was immaculate including our room. I even left a note for the cleaning lady about how clean it was. The breakfast was also so good! Will be back!

Upon arrival the clerk was friendly. Once we checked in to our room, room size was nice, but our sink was filthy. Took picture to clerk, she had had house keeping come clean our sink, but it was still unnerving. We were in this same location 2 weeks before for a medical procedure. Hampton Inn offered us free parking due to the reason for our stay. Holiday Inn said they could not accommodate this request.

Loved the area.walked all over downtown. So much great activity going on. Great food.parking at the hotel garage is expensive told her no parking across the street was $7.still got charged thought it was more than told.still loved the stay.

We had our room only cleaned 2 out of the 4 days we were there. They saw us and gave us clean towels but never bothered to take the trash or refill coffee. The fridge seal was broken, door was off its hinges and causedthe safety lock to pop out and lock us out, rips in the couch, large dings in the desk. At least 2 of our items were left and when we contacted the hotel, they tried claiming nothing was there when we know exactly what we left and where we left it. Worst experience ever from a hotel.

My family, 2 adults and 3 kids, checked into a suite on Saturday. Room was clearly not serviced between guests. (Dried mucus on sheets, hairs on sheets, pillows, counters, etc). We immediately notified front desk. We were given clean sheets to remake ourselves (2 full beds and the pullout sofa). We were told room would be fully serviced the next morning (Sunday). In Sunday, we left the room and returned in the afternoon. Room was still not serviced. Notified front desk and said we’d be added to the list for the next day (Monday). Monday morning we leave the room, return in the afternoon, room is still unserved. Notified front desk, again, and said housekeeping had left for the day. We checked out Tuesday morning. During our stay we had to ask for towels multiple times per day (were given 2 each time for a room full of 5 people), we had to ask for sheets, tissues, even toilet paper. When we left, the dirty sheets from checkin were still in the room, along with bags of trash from 5 people living in a room for three and a half days. Not only was this entire experience unsanitary, there was no attempt from staff to correct an issue over MULTIPLE days. I chose this hotel based on reviews which is why I’m leaving my honest one here. RUN from this hotel. If anything is wrong, staff is not trained to resolve the issues and cleaning is CLEARLY not a priority. I’m scared to image the cleaning issues we CANNOT see. Will never stay here again.
