Such a special place. This was our second stay and even better than the first (Jan. 2025) as the weather was outstanding , and we could experience the pool. I didn't even feel the need to leave the resort with the outstanding service, very attractive wine country style, great food and beverage program. We only left to go to Bell's and Bar Le Cote and a walk up Ballard Canyon Road. I would sit in front of the fireplace in the Tavern for a morning mimosa. So cozy as mornings and evenings are chilly. The pool is super comfy and relaxing with very attentive servers. Great cocktails and burger/fries. The rooms are also super comfy with great style. This trip I had a broken collarbone, and I felt so comfortable and well cared for. Super breakfast with Huevos rancheros. The staff is all super knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra night. Our room was not available so they gave us an even better room and sent over smores kits. I can't wait to return.

Beautiful facility - Luxurious but intimate and quaint- fabulous staff all throughout stay- from front desk in check in , to dining, Bar staff, Porters, spa staff - Highly recommend for an escape out of LA in a 5+ star facility!

Nice staff and room was fine, but the room fronted onto the highway and the sound of the cars was extremely loud, which made using the outdoor space unpleasant. The room also did not insulate from the sound which meant we had to wear earplugs at night. For $800+ a night I was surprised at this.

A+ from A to Z. Super friendly staff, wonderful ambiance, perfect location. Gorgous rooms. Great restaurant. High quality food. Walking distance to town center and wine tasting. Highly recommend it.

Mattie's inn makes you feel at home the moment you step on property! We could not have been more comfortable. Joe the beverage manager was such a pleasure to speak with, for such a young man he was very engaging, knowledgeable & informative. Very nice to see these days. Mike Cerreta

We had an amazing time celebrating my wife’s birthday at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern. Los Olivos is as charming and peaceful as I remembered from childhood. It is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy wine country. The room felt fresh and welcoming with champagne, a personal note, and even a framed photo of our little family waiting for us. The fire pit and s’mores setup were a fun touch, and the food and service across the property were outstanding. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. The spa experience was excellent. My massage was easily one of the best I have ever had. The complimentary yoga class was a nice surprise, and the Mercedes-Benz partnership, which allowed us to test-drive different cars each day including a Maybach and an SL 63 AMG, made the trip even more memorable. Between the atmosphere, service, and thoughtful touches, The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern made our celebration feel truly special.

The Inn at Mattei's Tavern exceeded our expectations. The food was creative and delicious, the resort beautiful with excellent facilities, and the rooms were very comfortable, well-appointed and very nicely decorated.

Tremendous place. Lovely, fancy, not too posh. We felt very well served, the food is amazing, and the staff is top notch. If we could decorate our house after the inn, we would...heck, we will. Definitely will come back.
