Friendly and accommodating staff. We checked into a King loft, that was best for our family. The kids had fun, and still had a little privacy from each other. We loved that we were able to order out and get it delivered to the front desk. It was great for us and would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here. The location is amazing. it's like a 1 minute walk to the beach and all the other things venice beach has to offer. The staff was always available, friendly, and helpful. I was solo travelling and felt safe here.

My daughter and I love the vibe of Venice Beach so we made a day trip from Texas out of it. Specifically because we love this hotel and the location. It is consistently spectacular. Located rt in the middle of Venice, we were able to take short breaks in our room walking distance from beach. Our room was ready when we arrived. The halls were clean, the front desk was pleasant and helpful, our room smelled like magic and sunshine. The view from the balcony was amazing and the ac worked perfectly!The front lady even told us about the complimentary bikes with our stay so we took a leisurely ride to Santa Monica on the veloway. They even come with locks. We never opened our own door as they have someone who greets you every time. We felt really special which is what you want to feel when on vacation. We checked out with Miguel who was a pleasant and happy soul who ended our stay with a smile. The hotel was amazing but the staff REALLY makes it special with their can do attitudes and pleasant and helpful demeanor! We won't even entertain any other hotels. The rooftop bar doesn't hurt either. Best views of the city...cant say enough. Stay here and you and your family will not be disappointed!

Great place if you want to stay away from the noise and bustle of LA. I like the fact that it wasn't too far from the airport if you want to Uber or Lyft there. Ample parking and it's free. The room was very spacious, had a microwave and fridge. There is an outdoor swimming pool but too cold and rainy during my stay. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is a bit scant, but I definitely would stay there again.

Everything was excellent. Very well located, everyone wasvery nice, the room that gives on the city is good as the rooms that give on the pool. The pool was very good. The bed was comfy and the whole hotel was very clean.

This cute hotel is 7 blocks from the Venice Beach Pier. The beach is busy : lots of action from the un housed to the flamboyant rollerbladers. But 7 blocks away at the Kinney you’ll find a relaxed ambiance worlds away from the congestion of the beach scene. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bathroom was well equipped, the bed/ bedding deluxe and the blackout shades top performers. I brought my own bike, the Kinney does charge for use of theirs, and had a fabulous ride on the bike trail that goes from Will Rogers to Torrance. I highly recommend dining at NUEVO. Innovative menu and affordable. I also had a satisfying meal at Wonky Wok. I found street parking, Kinney does charge for parking, really close by- safe neighborhood. The staff were welcoming and courteous. I really loved my stay- I could live at the Kinney!

The service is very good, but some rooms are not good, and they have been changed once or twice. For example, the back of the elevator is very noisy…

I booked this hotel last minute when me and my son were on a road trip. It had bad reviews, but the price was 1/3 price of other places in the area. So we thought we’d chance it for one night. CHECK IN - was very fast and we were given a ticket to put in our car for free parking in the hotel car park. The guy checking us in was very friendly and looked a bit like a surfer. ROOM - our room was down stairs and was a bit rough round the edges. I can see why people complained, because this place isn’t up to American standards. It had two double beds in our room, a very old tv, no tea/coffee and the furniture looked like it was from the 1970’s. The bathroom was old, but there was a hairdryer and also an iron in the room. Outside we had a large patio area with table and chairs. It had a glass window that overlooked the marina and beach. LOCATION- this was a perfect location round the corner from Venice beach and on the marina. There were restaurants nearby and the beach at the marina could be accessed directly by a gate at the hotel. I loved the location of this place! OVERALL- this place was much cheaper than other places in the area, so you get what you pay for. It has old furniture, is more like a surfers lodge than a hotel. But I loved the vibe here & the location was ideal. The Marriott hotel is right near here, so if you want higher standards and better rooms, stay here but you will be paying 4 x the price! If you are just having an overnight stay or don’t intend to sit in your hotel all day, then this hotel is fine. I would definitely stay here again if the price was good. Free parking and great location right on the beach.

Just returned from a ten night stay at this hotel. I chose the hotel as the base for my stay as it was pretty close to the start of the LA triathlon, in which I was competing, plus I negotiated a good rate for the duration. Facilities are basic, but top notch: nice double beds with en suite, large screen TV and fridge etc. Even an ironing board etc which is redundant to such as I! My bed linen and towels were promptly replaced each day without fail. Rooms and hotel very secure with only one way in and out through reception. Hotel staff incredibly friendly and efficient. Only disappointment was that since covid pandemic they're stopped offering breakfast. Would return and recommend without hesitation.
