Los Gatos Garden Inn Hotel

Located in downtown Los Gatos, the accommodation is lauded for its proximity to restaurants, safety, beauty, and walkability. Guests commend the friendly staff and the consistently clean and cute rooms.

We stayed here for 2 nights, a Thursday and Friday, in April. Our room was an executive suite, Rose Cottage #44. It was a quiet location away from the street. The room was quite spacious with a work alcove that included a desk and lamp with a comfortable chair. The main room had a comfortable queen bed with a nightstand on each side with lights and ample outlets for charging phones, etc. There was also an upholstered chair, a closet with a luggage rack and a safe. The kitchen came in handy and especially the full sized refrigerator that even included a container of filtered water. The bathroom had large windows that opened and let in fresh air and a lot of light and the shower had great water pressure. There were several boxes of tissue scattered about the room, which were greatly appreciated. The manager took our reservation over the phone and also happened to be there when we checked in. She was very nice and helpful. We appreciated the price point. The place down the street looks lovely from the outside, but the reviews of it aren't all that great and this spot was about half the price. The Purple Onion next door had nice breakfast options so that was a nice bonus. I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for three nights. While the hotel is older, it is well maintained and clean. The location is great, a very easy walk into town, and very close to the Creek Trail. The free parking is great. They provide coffee and snacks. The price was very reasonable.
