Came here for the 5th time and just like the other 4times we can not fault it , studio clean with everything we needed .yes the building is a little tired looking but don’t let that stop you .staff always helpful and always smiling .the only issue we had was the restaurant below and the arrogant male owner .we arrived just for lunch and was hit with Have you made a reservation (no) but there was no one in it so why not just allow us to eat at your establishment and maybe we will bring others in ! No that’s not happening , so we left and went to Fados 2min walk and had a lovely meal and a few drinks . The Comodoro is not attached to the on site restaurant it’s totally separate so plz don’t let this put you off .your within walking distance to a manner of shops and come out of the main door to the right and you find a 24hr shop for all your needs which was fantastic for late comers . There is also a lot of eateries and drinking bars within a 2min walk .you won’t be disappointed.the market is twice awk which is 2min walk to your right of main door . Tenerife has come along way from when I first started coming bk in 2000 every time I go something else as been refurb or been totally changed .you are at least a 20min walk in to las americas with lots of shops along the way .beautiful walk even if you don’t do the shops .id definitely recommend Tenerife as I felt so safe if was out and about on my own .

Well ! What can I say !! We turned up and thought “carry on abroad “! They showed us to our room ! - oh dear ! Very very dated ! Door didn’t shut , the sofa bed had seen better days , but we had a washing machine but no hairdryer ! No AC! , it was dirty - er nope !!!!!!!!! We rang easyJet no help whatsoever ! We looked at elsewhere but pretty much full ! Went to reception , the lady was shocked we didn’t like the room , the staff were lovely to be honest . Eventually they moved us to another room that was slightly better but still dated ! There are residents there and I don’t think it’s for the holiday market being honest . We had to make do with 2 fans it was mega hot too ! It’s very dated , the inside and outside need a revamp . Lastly we had a little visitor ! Iam sorry but never again !

First of all, I will start with the positives. The location of Commodore is excellent, and a very convenient base for Los Cristianos. The reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. Also, the pool area and outdoor space is very well maintained. The problem is the rooms that are owned by the main office. These are typically dated and run down. I booked one of these rooms directly with the company, and paid around 115 euros per night, so by no means a cheap stay. The room I was allocated was 201T. This was on the second floor and tucked away in the corner, with the balcony facing into another apartment. No real view at all, which is the main selling point for commodoro. That was disappointing, but the luck of the draw. What was the worst thing was the apartment had cockroaches in the bathroom and in the main living area. I know Tenerife is a warm climate and cockroaches are present, but this seemed like a bigger problem. What seemed like the WiFi router was actually a large industrial size pest repellent wired into the lounge area. It didn't work though, as during the night over several nights I saw cockroaches roaming about. It was really odd putting and I didn't sleep well as a result. I also brought absolutely no food into the apartment in an attempt to keep them away. Not ideal if your plan was to cook meals and snacks, but I just couldn't risk encouraging them The apartment itself was clean, but everything is just old. The bathroom in particular needs a full refurbishment. The toilet wouldn't flush and when fixed by maintenance, it started running constantly. Chipped tiles and a cracked mirror and just generally old and worn. These apartments are tired and are in need of refurbishment, and it really is scandalous to be charging such high prices for such poor quality.

This hotel is so outdated it’s unreal! Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s in a good location but hotel is crap, shower is ok if your 5ft and size 6 womens clothes, patio takes an age to open and lock, tv is crap, would come back to the area but comodoro is a definite no no

The Comodoro accommodation was not the best in my experience. I won’t advise anyone to go there as I paid for a studio apartment back in 2023 and the studio looked very nice, it had a good view until I slept in the bed which contained bedbugs – pictures attached. Me and my partner were moved to another room which was completely different layout as the previous room to which, we were more focused on enjoying the holiday and with that in mind, we agreed to stay in the new room. Unfortunately, around 1 o’clock in the night when we were sleeping, someone came and tried to get into our room and broke the door handle in the trying. So, we ended up again worried about what was happening in there and ‘unknowing at the time’ it happened that a staff member had given a couple the wrong room key to which was due to a lack of communication. That night we slept in a room with the potentially damaged door handle that couldn’t perform its design to properly to secure the room. After all those events the staff apologized, and we had received a complimentary voucher to come back to the hotel. We decided to give it a second opportunity to see if we would have a better experience but unfortunately this wasn’t the case as we received a studio which we did not know the condition of. No one deserves to pay for a deteriorating room even though when booking the pictures were showing a good condition again - pictures attached. We both don’t need to say much. Anyway, after arriving in the building are thoughts were as, we had paid for it and our sacrifices to get money to pay for a good holiday I believe hotels like this shouldn’t be allowed to have guests put in these conditions. Another note to point out is I asked to extend the stay prior to booking out for a further two hours because of our flight and offered to pay the small difference but we were met with the approach of you will have to pay the full amount of 30 euros and for a place that has poor conditions. Really? The only thing good it’s the receptionists they have a good customer service.

These apartments are in a perfect location and are basic but more than adequate for an enjoyable holiday. The staff are friendly. One downside is that the pool doesn't open until 10 and there are only around 17 sunbeds which leads to a queue first thing in the morning. The sunbed charge is 1 euro per bed per day and personally I would have been happy to pay more if the business purchased more beds. The pool area is clean and water temperature isn't too bad.
