Casa Maat at JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa

The best hotel, rooms, services ever. We had personalized butler service, and they go above and beyond! Francisco, Ricardo, Jesús, Daniel, Luis, Abraham, Monse. We’re all amazing. You are treated like family. I’m going every year cause we have never had better service. 20/10!!

Butlers were fantastic, food and beverage staff were quick and attentive, all other staff kind and helpful. We have been twice to Casa Maat and will be going again! We felt cared for by the whole team from start to finish so we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

Casa Maat is peaceful luxury with gorgeous views of the sea, excellent service from staff, and tons of amenities on property. I could go on and on with praise… Casa Maat is a “hotel within a hotel.” As a guest, I had exclusive access to its private amenities, as well as access to everything within the larger JW Marriott property, which included multiple pools, restaurants, bars, beach access, Jasha spa, etc…I enjoyed the included breakfast by the pool/ocean every morning at Casa Maat, as well as additional snacks and drinks throughout the day. There was a team of butlers that offered their assistance with anything I needed during my stay. They greeted me by name whenever they saw me around the property. I am so appreciative of the excellent service provided by Jesús, Francisco, Ricardo, Abraham on the butler team, Rafael and Eduardo at the restaurant, Maria and Luis at the front desk, and Mary at Jasha Spa. I know there were many other amazing staff members that I encountered that I am forgetting here. Even the housekeeping staff was so cheerful and helpful. My room was large and beautiful, with tasteful furnishings that highlighted the local culture. Double sinks, large soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, high-end toiletries and spa accessories, beautiful spacious furnished balcony, dreamy bed—I wish I could have just moved in! I am already trying to find a date on my calendar when I can return!

The entire vacation from start to finish was nothing shy of excellent. The staff, food and service exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back! If you’re interested in a place that’s peaceful with great service this is the place for you. We needed to get away from the hustle of Manhattan, this place helped us to unwind and recharge.

We have traveled all over the world and this place is TOPS in our book. Grounds and rooms are GORGEOUS. Service is IMPECCABLE. Food is OUTSTANDING. Every night they have a “light” dinner (which was ample) accompanied by live music on the patio. The ambiance is untouchable. Snacks and free beer,wine, pop and water all day by pool. Breakfast may be the best buffet we’ve ever experienced. We rarely return to places because we’re always looking to experience new spots but this a place we’ll probably revisit. You won’t be disappointed by anything here, it’s all TOP SHELF.

What a wonderful stay. Casa Maat was quiet and relaxed. The butler staff (Jesus, Ricardo & Abraham) were attentive and willing to help however they could. It was truly relaxing and would come back in a heart beat. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast everyday. The drinks and mid-day guac and ceviche helped us power through pool time. We did have a chance to participate in the themed dinners, but did enjoy a few nights of dining at Cafe Des Artistes. Also, amazing!! Casa Maat also had complimentary activities including wine tasting, massage and yoga. Such a great stay!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Casa Maat. The service staff was attentive and ensured that all of our needs and wants were taken very quickly. Everyone was so pleasant. The included breakfast and dinner were delicious, as well as the snacks and desserts at lunchtime. The property is well taken care of and we were able to relax in the calm and peaceful environment. Even though we were not able to enjoy the beach, the pools were really fun. Afterwards, we went to stay at another resort an hour away. When we got there, we realized we left our passports in the safe at Casa Maat. So we texted our concierge Jesús at Casa Maat and he promptly found them, put them in a taxi and we had them less then 90 min later. What incredible service!

My wife and I stayed at Casa Mart in Cabo for 3 nights, during the first week of January. This place is a hidden gem!!! It is attached and off to the side of the JW Marriott and you feel like you are in your own little private haven. It is a small boutique type setup with no more than 60 rooms or so, but has a beautiful pool that overlooks the ocean. You can walk down the large stair case and go for a walk on the beach or just sit back in your comfy lounger and watch the ocean and look for whale spotting. The service here was top notch and exceeded our expectations. They have a full breakfast buffet in the AM that is so delicious and then they offer you various snacks throughout the day like fresh ceviche and fresh guacamole. At dinner, they have a set theme and menu they offer, which is included in your room price, along with a top shelf open bar from 6 - 8 PM. This is not an all-inclusive, but it makes you feel like you are at one. You have direct access to free beer and soda throughout the day in the mini fridge where the bfast buffet is setup. Every server and employee interaction we had was super friendly, helpful and just what we could hope for. I would absolutely come back to Casa Matt without hesitation. Note that since this is a smaller resort, it is perfect for 3 & 4 night getaways. It is a great chill and relax location and would not recommend for families. If you are going with kids, I would say that JW would probably be the better option.
