Nest Baja

We originally booked 2 nights but 15 minutes after our arrival we extended our stay because we immediately fell in love with this place. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay forever, but we will definitely come back. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever seen. Exceptional food, and super friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much 🙏

WARNING - TERRIBLE HOTEL AND SERVICE DO NOT BOOK HERE! Regularly cancels bookings with little notice! Despite booking 8 months prior to our trip, 8 weeks before our arrival we received an automated email ‘confirming our booking had been cancelled.’ We did not cancel our booking, they did and used this automated email that I assumed was an error, to tell us. I had to message twice before receiving an actual email from a person who just said - oh we had a system update and now we can’t accommodate you. There was no offer of a discounted rate for a future trip, no real apology or explanation, just a - system update, we’ve already refunded you. Whilst this place looks nice, it’s just not worth the risk - they cancelled with such little notice we will now have to find a hotel in town (which is not where we wanted to be for our trip). A few days after this interaction I spoke with a friend who had the exact same experience with the white lodge a couple of years prior. They booked at the white lodge who cancelled their reservation with little notice due to a ‘system error.’ My friends ended up calling and were told by someone at the hotel that a larger party had booked over their dates. So this is clearly something they regularly do - they do not honour bookings and will cancel last minute if they get a larger party or higher value booking with no regard for the guests who have booked time off work and flights. A short term money grabbing strategy and very risky for guests! I highly recommend not booking here and risking your trip being cancelled last minute! They’re super rude, super shady, big time wasters - avoid like the plague.

Amazing service, poeple and food. We love how quiet it is. As well as the scenery and how clean everything is. We really appreciate their commitment to the small details. As well as how quickly they resolve any issues that come up. We come here at least once a year and have never regretted it.

If you’re looking to enjoy the beauty of the East Cape, BCS. There is no better spot than The White Lodge. Surroundings are beautiful, accommodation super comfortable and truly unique. The restaurant menu was varied and the food was excellent. Staff were attentive and made everyday of my week stay a pleasure.

The write up of this hotel in the description explains it perfectly. A very bumpy hour drive from San Jose keeps the masses away which is exactly what makes this place special. We had cottage 7, which is called Sunrise and describes it perfectly as we woke to the sun every morning into our room and then enjoyed coffee on our deck watching a 180 degree view of the ocean and a daily whale show! Enjoyed a Tezmecalli ceremony and massage on our rooftop…highly recommend even though a bit pricey…very cool experience. Food is very good…fresh and healthy. Victor was outstanding and helpful to our needs. Javier in the restaurant was also a highlight as well as all the staff! Special place!

Overall incredible experience. It's not a typical "luxury" resort, it's much more grounded and offers a truly unique experience that's based around disconnection and nature. The rooms were beautiful and we went to sleep every night to the sound and warmth of the fire burning in our fireplace. The restaurant was very accommodating to our vegan diet, something we struggled with everywhere else in Baja. We were there in late January and it was a constant whale show in front of the lodge all day long. Bring binoculars! The staff were incredibly kind throughout our stay and went out of their way to make out stay as pleasant as possible. The massage we got (Aztec massage) was also extremely professional and wonderful. My only complaint was that the hot water in the shower lasted a grand total of about 3-4 minutes, which was hardly enough for my wife and I even when we tried to shower together as fast as possible. The prices in the restaurant were also very high, which was a bummer as there were no other options in the area. Overall highly recommended!
