Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection

This was the most luxurious work trip I've ever had the privilege to experience. We didn't need to think about anything and we're truly able to relax. Aside from the magic of the ocean and watching whales play in the water while relaxing the pool, the food was spectacular! We did not have a disappointing bite. The favorites were the guacamole (which my husband normally hates) and the hummus. Hummus has been ruined for me now.

Checked in got a beautiful room, oceanfront. Just shared with public beach, so it’s not a private beach for hotel. The resort is spread out, and very expensive. The food is outrageously expensive. It’s ok, nothing amazing. There isn’t even a shop on property to buy some soda, or snacks. Everything is restaurant or room service. The pools are all located next to each other, and are very very hot. I suppose it’s because it’s September and not ideal time to vacation here. I would say the One and Only is far more romantic and intimate. The staff here are all outstanding, which is why I go with 4 stars. I preferred the JW Casa Matt to this as well, as well as the Viceroy. I would say for the cost, I’m not thrilled. The “ beach” is a tiny area that’s shared with public locals. Great snorkeling, but unfortunately it made me a little seasick. If you don’t get a room down by beach, you have long walks or have to rely on golf cart rides from hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chileno. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for any requests. The accommodations, restaurants, service, and amenities were all outstanding. We really enjoyed starting each day at the spa and work out facility. The snorkeling was incredible, and it was nice having access to both beaches (private and public). Our Butler Sergio was top notch and made sure every part of the trip was perfect!

Wow, WoW, WOW!!! Chileno Bay Resort goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing!!! This was my 3rd stay at an Auberge property and there really is nothing like it. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable... I slept better in this bed than my own. The rooms are spacious, clean and fabulously designed. The outdoor patio was huge and relaxing. And, the outside shower was an extra treat! We never left the resort! We had everything we needed on property. Private beach access. All of the restaurants were delicious. Tacos by the pool every day. Incredible spa treatments. Friendly service in every location. We can't wait to come to back to Chileno Bay again soon!!!

We stayed at Esperanza but took the shuttle over one evening for drinks at Comal. Our bartender, Pedro, was the best! Extremely welcoming and friendly and his drinks were delicious! Our experience with Pedro was one of the highlights of our trip to Cabo!
