Antonio Hotel - Downtown Los Angeles, Near Hollywood

I stay here quite a bit for work. the rates are fair and it is a convenient location for the subway to downtown. the rooms are clean and the staff is courteous. there is a locked door to the building entry which your room key card will open. cable television, highspeed WIFI and in room refrigerator. washing machines and stove/kitchen area in lobby. I don't understand the bad reviews, I've stayed at Antonio several times off and on over an 8 month period and I've never had a problem. would definitely recommend staying here if you are on a budget. will be staying here every time Im in L.A.

We chose this motel because a friend was having out patient surgery at USC. This was very convenient and in fact, across the street from the ER entrance. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable rate for the area. Free covered par was a big plus. Walking distance from several decent restaurants. The room was clean and quiet except for a little street noise. The heat/ air conditioning was working well and provides white noise if you need it. The staff was available and polite. There is no lobby only a check in window. The water was hot and soap, shampoo etc was provided. Small fridge and microwave. You have to make a short walk to Starbucks for coffee. I was glad I keep an extra blanket in my car as the linens are a bit skimpy. Over all not bad at all.

Visiting my sister who was a few blocks away. Quick, easy check in late at night. Front staff at night as well as in the AM was super friendly and helpful. If I knew parking was 30 dollars for an empty parking garage where its the honor system of coming in and out, I would have just left my car at her house. From what I recall there was no mention of that. I did ask for extra towels and they said ”due to covid” they couldn't bring the towel outside my room but I had to come down to get them. Not sure what covid has to do with dropping towels outside the room. We had a one bedroom suite with 3 kids in there and there was plenty of space. The night before they ask how many people are in your room and if you want a hot or cold breakfast. The breakfast was great for the circumstances and came with a giant orange juice and coffee. I will definitely stay here again when I visit my sister as its very clean and new. I will just leave my car behind next time:)

The host, Ron, was very friendly, very understanding guy. 100% made my experience comfortable. The location is next to Little Tokyo and the (new) Little Tokyo subway station. A lot of good eating areas around Little Tokyo. The sleeping/living area had very poor air conditioning. The bathroom and shower are quite rustic and gross, but that's not something I personally care about. I know other people are sensitive to this, so I will preface that I saw cockroaches in the bathroom. By no means is the toilet disgusting without being cleaned, but rather something you'd find at a bar downtown... Generally speaking though, the experience was good and I will be visiting again in the future. To emphasize, the host, Ron, really made me feel comfortable with being in LA.

Close to the bar, it is noisy at night, and there are very few free parking spaces. A security guard is very enthusiastic and helps with baggage, but if you don't specifically emphasize cleaning the room, the cleaning staff will not clean it yourself.

I went to the United States to test the SAT. On the first day, I rented the box in the trunk on the first day. Everything was inside. Then the front desk helped me check the video, helped me check the taxi company’s official website, and helped me to call. Helped me find the driver, and then because I was too late, I asked me to contact me the next morning, and wrote the complete information for me. The next day I went to the game and found that the front desk had the wrong number, and then the manager was on duty that day. When I heard it, I immediately called me again, helped me get everything done and communicated to the driver step by step. After 2 hours, the driver returned the box (paying the driver 30 dollars) Really, it’s really friendly and welcoming. I didn’t even think that the box would come back. It’s really a big compliment. For other information: There are 3 people at the front desk, the manager is Johnny, one speaks Chinese and the other is unclear. The location is quite good, although this area is a Mexican place, but unlike Houston, which is full of dangers like tramps, it is safe and quiet at night. If you go to the SAT, go to the examination room for 6 minutes. Left and right, if it is accommodation, it is a good choice, there is a 7-11 convenience store at the door, and a few streets down is Chinatown. The room was very warm, the bed was very soft and comfortable, not an apartment was a small house, I booked the most common one, one bed and one table, then the floor was wood, the bathroom was very clean, the air conditioning thief was strong
