USC Hotel

South Los Angeles
Location - located on Figueroa Street across the street from the USC campus. Proximity to USC is the biggest winner for this Radisson. Accommodations - The lobby was basic, one story with a small front desk and small pool antey. The gym was basic with 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals and weights up to 35 OK lbs.. The rooms are decent size and well maintained with nice decor. The bathrooms can stand to be updated though. Service - The front desk folks are OK but the hotel policies really bring it down overall. We stayed at the hotel during move in week and weekend (5 days 4 nights) but were not given a water bottle like everyone else, that was weird. We received some Amazon boxes while there and were charged $5/box after the 3rd box but were not told in advance from the hotel that they would charge us, so they basically held the packages I ordered for my daughter's move in hostage.

It's a great place to stay with family. Free parking and spacious room...Korean staff were so friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory.
Friendship Motor Inn

We were the first night in Los Angeles, after the flight from Italy. The owner is very kind and available, although I was not speaking English almost all, he tried to get to understand as much as possible. If we have a chance we will come back before the end of the holiday. The room is large enough and clean enough, there is a microwave, a phone and even a steam iron. With bathrooms, too, a stick and a dental, they are not everywhere. I asked if I could check out soon and he said there was no problem. The Hollywood books are also read from the top floor.
Hotel Aventura

We visited Universal Orlando for the first time March 31-April 2 2022 and stayed at Aventura. We loved this hotel. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ages 15, 13, 10 and 4 and we had 2 rooms. It was so close to Volcano Bay. The water taxi at the hotel across the street was so convenient, relaxing and made security a breeze to get through. The food at the hotel had good variety and was reasonably priced. The maid service we had was amazing. She even folded my kids blankets differently each day. Amenities were great and I took home my small shampoo bottles, unlike Disney that doesn't do that anymore. The robots were fun and the room tablets were so useful. We would definitely stay again. **we also stayed on Disney property during this trip and would 100% stay at Universal again before staying at Disney a second time.
Rotex Western Inn

Excellent location flat in the middle of Korea-Town. It's obviously not a new establishment, but everything is convenient and usable especially for the price.
