I was so excited to stay here. I arrived about 5pm and our room was not available to strike one so they gave us tokens for free drinks at the poolside, while we were there we waited to see if anyone will come up to us and offer drinks and nothing so I decided to go up to the bar. We ordered our drinks and when paying with the tokens the bartender made it clear to me that her tip was not included with the tokens strike 2.. made me feel like I couldn't afford it, so we decided to go have dinner, we finished dinner after 6pm and still not call my room was available so I decided to go ask..when I get there all of a sudden our room is available. We go up to our room and its the wrong one strike 3 when going back to the lobby I found a gentleman walking our luggage up so I let him know our room was not the one I reserved he apologized and walked me down to the lobby.. when we were in the lobby they apologized and gave me a discount for the mixed up.. the agreed that was not the room I reserved and was going to send wine and cheese up to our room.. never received the wine strike 4. The next morning we decided to check out I told the gal there about my horrible experience so they waved the valet also when I got my bill they added other charges of $90 and gave me a discount of $60 . Yea the other charges were added to offset the discount. I felt so uncomfortable never going back again, I'm still sad about my family trip that was ruined and made us feel unwelcome. Never had this experience ever

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great. The main street in front of it is safe to walk even at night. There is a supermarket called Target nearby that is open until 22:00. The Uber will arrive right in front of the G floor where the reception is located. The lobby goes up one level by stairs (or elevator). I emailed them in advance to ask if they could store my luggage for the Grand Circle Tour. They kept it for me for $5 a day. Coffee service is available in front of the reception from early in the morning.

The room was unexpectedly large, very clean, and had complete facilities. There was free coffee in the morning, and free red wine at the bar. The location is also very good, and West Hollywood is relatively safe. I will choose this place again next time I come~ The only thing is that the taxes and fees for the resort are a bit high.

The hotel is awesome, and there is a garden restaurant on the rooftop. It’s pretty good to take a brunch in the morning. The room is very new and modern. The view is also very good. It costs 8 dollars to Universal Studios by taxi, which is quite close.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I was a frequent business traveler for 25 years. What you read below actually happened. We stayed here for 3 nights Oct. 1-3 in an ”upgraded” room for $868.95 prepaid. We were assigned a room that was so small you had to walk sideways to get onto one side of the bed. No closet, no room for luggage, a tiny bathroom with no counter space at all for, you know, bathroom stuff. Also, the air conditioning was malfunctioning. When I asked about the room's size, the front desk they told me ”all the rooms are the same.” but they'd send maintenance up to fix the A/C. Maintenance didn't fix anything. Later that night, starting at about 11:30 and lasting until past 3:00 am, loud bass heavy electronic music from the Human nightclub right outside our window kept us awake most of the night. And the room remained warm. That was the first night. Sunday morning, we were assured that the club was closed Sunday night. We asked again around noon before we left for the day and were told the same thing. We were out all day, returned at 6:15 to get ready for dinner, only to find the housekeeping staff cleaning our room, which caused us to be late for dinner. When we returned at about 9:30, the A/C still wasn't fixed and....the Human was revving up for another evening of noise. I went down to the front desk and after half an hour of waiting, management gave us another room. We repacked everything and moved. Fortunately the A/C worked, and it was quiet. Contrary to what we'd been told about all the rooms being the same, it was significantly larger. We were out all day Monday, then spent all evening on the roof (which is beautiful, with very good food and drinks, a great view, and unlike the rest of the hotel, good service). It was the only enjoyable part of the stay. When we returned to our room at 11 pm, it had not been cleaned at all. We had no towels, and the front desk could only apologize. Next morning at checkout, I recounted all this to a manager who actually understands what customer service is. As I said, the food and drinks were good but expensive. We spent over $1000 on food and drinks during our stay, about $300 of which we charged to our room. The hotel added another $75 in ”amenity fees” that we never knew about. She removed all of those charges in recognition of a miserable stay. This was appropriate and, frankly, surprising. I'll never stay here again. If you decide to risk it, request a room in the rear of the hotel, which are quieter and are larger. Under no circumstances accept a room on the side of the hotel adjacent to the Human nightclub. And before you actually check in, ask to see the room first.

We recently stayed on the 8th (top) floor in a deluxe king room. So many reviews mention a noise issue, but we NEVER heard noise from the top floor bar or pool or from the restaurant on the ground floor. The only noise that was troublesome was children on our floor racing up and down the hall and banging on doors for fun, but the hotel quickly took care of that. Aside from a quiet stay, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed and we always had warm water and great water pressure. We did have once instance of the shower not draining but it was quickly resolved. The views were incredible and the blackout curtains were perfect, fully covering the windows; no rays of light sneaking in like so many traditional curtains. The Hyatt app allowed us to Chromecast to the TV when we were relaxing and wifi was fast. While there isn't a traditional desk area to work from the lobby has plenty of room to settle in comfortably and work from a laptop if needed. This was a trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and the tommie Hollywood team left a small birthday gift in the room to help us kick off our stay. It was so thoughtful and much appreciated. The location is great-- we were able to walk to much of what we wanted to do in Hollywood/Downtown LA and the rest was a quick Metro or Lyft away. We were mildly nervous about staying in Hollywood, but a lot of revitalization has been done and it was honestly better than our hometown west coast big city in terms of safety/visible unhoused persons. We were steps away from some amazing food/drinks, too-- Intelligensia, Bahn Oui, Love2Eat Thai Bistro, Scum and Villany Cantina, the Hollywood Farmers Market on Sunday, and Ka'teen and Desert 5 Spot in the hotel itself. We will be back!
