During the new crown period, the hotel's meals were basically stopped, but otherwise it was very good.
Brentwood Inn

The first time I stayed at this hotel, the hotel was not big with 25 rooms, but it was free, quiet and comfortable. The bedding is particularly good, super delicate and soft. The layout of the room is reasonable, wooden blinds, tables and chairs, sofas, floor lamp bedside lamps, full-length mirrors, and wall decoration paintings are harmonious and warm. The bathroom is small and clean, the towels are good, the shower head has been used for some years but the water pressure is quite good. There is coffee in the room and free tea coffee fruit at the front desk. The community environment is good, and there are many exquisitely designed villas around. The most important factor in choosing this one is that you can park for free. The front desk also asked if you need to wash the car two nights before leaving the store, saying that it is free. Unfortunately, this trip left early and returned late, and I didn't catch up with this service.

Location is in a easily-missed, secluded location with a nice upper level with a pool and lounge area, separate from front office and rooms.

Loved our stay here. The rooms were very clean, spacious and well decorated. We had a small balcony overlooking the motorway but it was quiet inside the room. The bathroom was lovely although the shower pressure could have been better. Check in was straightforward. We had everything we needed including a coffee machine, ice bucket (ice machine just up the corridor), iron, hairdryer and fridge. The restaurant/bar on the top floor had amazing views of the city and was a relaxed place for a drink. There is a daily happy hour too. Food was very good. My absolute favourite bit was the pool area. The pool was a lovely temperature and the area was sunny for most of the day. It was a very well presented area with lovely sun beds and cushions everywhere and I loved being there. There is a little cafe-bar beside the pool too. The complimentary wine hour from 4pm till 5pm was a lovely touch and Brian was very accommodating. You could take the wine back to the pool in a plastic cup and there were always at least 2 choices of wine to try. There was also a lovely lobby area to relax and drink your wine in. The valet parking staff were really friendly and helpful and always took an interest in you. We got a deal with free valet parking so that was good. For a hotel of this standard in this part of LA I thought it was very good value. All in all very impressed.

Loved the vintage feel from the moment I walked in to the hotel! We stayed two nights and loved our experience. The front desk staff was friendly and greeted us by name whenever we saw them. They recommended we visit the Santa Monica Farmers Market, which my wife loved. A short drive led us on an impromptu trip to the beach! We appreciated the cozy feel of the hotel and its location centralized to everything we did!
