It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach.But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night. The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in. The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.

Very close to the beach, 10 minutes walk Tips: The hotel may be gradually renovating, we stayed in the room with the brown door, it was very old, even the floor sloped badly. When I checked out, I passed the room with the blue door and saw that it was very new inside. (In fact, the price is the same, depending on your luck when you check in). In addition, the sound insulation of the hotel is poor and it is on the street, so it is recommended that you prepare earplugs so as not to affect your sleep.

Stayed at Found Santa Monica for 10 Nights June 2024. I was there for a business trip but here are my take aways. Location- Relatively suburban area so there’s not too much happening that’s that fun if you’re there on vacation, would recommend getting a car as there’s not much outside of coffee/breakfast that’s walking distance (Starbucks 5 min walk, Blu Jam Café 10 min walk.) The general Area surrounding feels slightly questionably in the evening. The 7/11 and parking lot next door feels more dangerous at night and is rife with homeless around the hotel but I don’t think the hotel can do much about that. Staff- Helpful enough. I was checked in by Stephen who could not find my booking and I found him to be rather unapproachable throughout the rest my stay and unwelcoming. Other staff members seemed ok though. Security always around the lobby area. Rooms- Basic but clean. Would have loved a fridge or something perhaps but my room on the second floor had a desk and a wardrobe and a very nice bathroom. It’s everything you need- nothing more nothing less, cleaners did a good job most days however the AC unit is loud and can give off a weird smell if left on all day. TV has a lot of channels but no ability to connect from smart devices (although advertised). Overrall- Every part of me wanted to give this a poor review as I was largely unimpressed but for the price I can’t complain. If you want basic necessities for a good price in LA in the Santa Monica area then go for it. Don’t expect to be blown away and keep yourself to yourself- the check in codes is a great feature which I wish more hotels would implement. 3/5 Stars from me. Ok, does the job?

Enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, which is the most important part for my stay! We asked for extra blankets and towels which were brought up quickly. Breakfast was simple which is fine, I'm not much for eating early. Location was good, busy area coming in and out of the hotel.

I stay at this location fairly often due to business. I've never had a problem with the amenities. The rooms are updated and clean, the hotel staff is very friendly, and Hampton even offers a breakfast service in the morning. This location is also walking distance from the Santa Monica pier and a number restaurants, which adds to the milieu, and makes it easy since parking can be difficult in the area. Valet on site is fast and courteous!

My experience was very great! This was my first ever solo trip and my first stay at a hostel. The staff was very accommodating and the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the amenities that you get with the room. For a cheap price you get a lot more than just a dorm. You get things like a outdoor common area, a very nice kitchen, indoor common areas and sometimes events like comedy night, and a free breakfast every morning. This hostel is in a really good location for the area. It’s not too far from the beach and the pier and you’re very close to the public transportation. I met some really cool people at this place traveling from all over and we all hung out and had a good time.

We stayed at the Bayside Hotel for a little weekend getaway from New York and where welcomed with the upmost friendliness one can expect. We were to early to check in but still were shown room options to ensure we will have the best experience. I believe the agent was George and had Greek roots. The room seemed recently renovated and was very clean. I run a 4 star hotel myself and was impressed by the professionalism and kindness every team member encountered us with. The free bike rental was such a welcomed surprise. Last the location was perfect. Close to the beach plenty of dining options around and easy to access without being in a noisy area. We ended up sleeping with open windows enjoying the ocean view while listening to the waves. Thank you Bayside Team

This is an excellent hotel, it's not on the sea front, but that easily reachable by bus, and you can walk to the metro. The local environment is great and less touristy than downtown Santa Monica There are shops bars restaurants locally, but I had to walk to them

When I entered, I was healed by the jacuzzi and washroom decorated with swans made of towels. The jacuzzi bath was appreciated in the rainy and cold season. Breakfast was included every morning, and the automatic pancake machine was interesting, sticky, and delicious. The seasoning was also abundant. Next to Tradesr's Joe is convenient for shopping, but it's small. Walk 7 blocks and there's also Whole Foods'. Because it is a bus street, it is easy to go to the beach. There is no elevator, so it is inconvenient to carry luggage on the 2nd floor.

The room is relatively large, with twin beds, each bed is 1.5 meters. The room decoration, lamps and bedding are more elegant. Go out to the right, turn left at the intersection for about 50 meters and you will arrive at Santa Monica Beach. The hotel is in a relatively central location with many restaurants. Hotel parking is more expensive, it costs 55 knives. But there is a public parking lot on the street behind, 15 dollars for 24 hours, 20 dollars on Saturday and Sunday.
