We missed one night stay in Cameo Beverly Hills because our flight was delayed. They refused to refund the booking fees and the resort fees, not even partial refund, even after explaining our situation.
Because we missed one day, our schedule in LA was very tight. One day when we decided to use the hotel credits to have dinner at the bar, where we only ordered food, the bartender rudely said, 'This is a bar, are you ordering any drinks?' We were tired and hungry and wasn't in the mood for drinks but just ordered one anyways because of the attitude.
The worst thing is, one night, the room beside us on the same floor came back all high and partying with loud music blasting at 2 am. The walls were so thin, even our room and bed were shaking. We were already freaking exhausted and was awake. We called the reception THREE times to resolve this and even after the third time, the room continued talking really loud. The group of people left at 4 am and we finally had peace. But because of this commotion and lack of sleep, I fell sick.
Weirdly, even though it's a room for 2 pax, they only provided 1 pair of room slippers and I had to get it from the reception.
We had made known of the partying night to the reception before our stay ended and the reception just said, 'Sorry.' That’s all.
We did not enjoy our stay at Cameo Beverly Hills hotel and wished we didn't book all 4 nights with them.
Being a Hilton affiliated hotel, I think the service standard is just unacceptable.
