The Biltmore Los Angeles

This hotel, with over a century of history, has witnessed the golden age of Hollywood cinema. Its Renaissance architectural style, complete with murals, crystal chandeliers, and colorful ceramic decorations, along with warm and attentive service, made for a very pleasant stay. The front desk can provide bottled water, and there are communal water dispensers on each floor. The in-room coffee machine was a practical touch. The room itself was very large and spacious. For convenience, there are several Japanese restaurants, a Subway, and a Starbucks nearby. The subway is within walking distance, but most of my travel was by taxi.

Chosen this hotel multiple times. It's in the city center, about a 20-minute walk to the Staples Center.

This hotel is absolutely terrible! The service is awful! There are all sorts of hidden and compulsory charges. The staff have extremely poor attitudes; they'd rather chat and amuse themselves than promptly address guests' issues. The hotel facilities are old and outdated, and they even had the audacity to email me demanding a $5 maintenance fee. What do your American 'historical artifacts' have to do with me? Why should I pay for your building's upkeep?! In short, this hotel has made it onto my travel blacklist! I will never, ever stay here again.

It's an old building with a lot of character, but the facilities are outdated. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; my neighbors were having a loud birthday party late at night. The windows also don't block out much noise, and the hotel's ventilation system is so loud it affected my sleep quality.

The room was a bit old and the facilities were dated, but it had a sense of historical charm, and overall the experience was good. They don't provide water in the rooms; you have to go to the front desk to get it yourself. When the front desk is busy, you still have to retrieve it yourself.

The hotel interior is palatial, though the room facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast was decent. I was surprised by the daily service charge, which I hadn't expected. Overall, it was okay.

This hotel has a rich history, and I believe it's owned by Chinese people, as there was a Chinese New Year atmosphere during my stay over the holiday. Parking isn't free; it costs about $60 for a full day. The hotel is located right in the city center.
