The Haas, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The room is big and the location is easy to reach as well. However, the surrounding area is filled with homeless and ************, I didn’t feel safe when I went back the flat at nighttime. Meanwhile, the service is extremely poor, staff is rude and unhelpful. My room originally had no hairdryer, and I went downstairs to the reception for over 5 times to finally have it delivered. Other than that, they totally mismanaged the booking information as I was supposed to stay 4 nights with them. In the morning of my fourth day, their staff just broke into my room while I was asleep without permission and demanded me to leave. They later realized I was supposed to stay one more night there upon clarification. With these terrible experience, I would never go back to this hotel even it is for free. Extremely unsafe if you are a girl travelling alone in LA

Okay n stay only one night

Hallway stench of cleaner was almost enough to make one vomit due to high strength of smell.the lingering smell. Is property attempting to mask another odor??? Floors in unit made both our feet and socks black due to dirt. Ice maker broken. I informed front desk and supplied photo of frozen over unit. I asked if ice could be taken from an empty room and was told there’s a store around the corner. I paid five bucks for a small bag of ice that I had to walk to get when there’s supposed to be a functional kitchen. No follow up from property. Wasted 30 mins of vacation getting ice! Sink basin is loose and water leaked out to counter and one persons belongings got wet on bottoms of everything they had sitting on the counter. Coffe maker that was filthy! Even if it were clean, there was zero filters, sugar or cream and only two small packets of coffee. Another trip to the store! Not an enjoyable stay

It’s in the heart of downtown, but a car park literally across the street and a safe car right next door.

Front Desk was very accommodating. ROOOMS WERE VERY CLEAN. Security is very prompt, when it comes to loud neighbors being too loud. This is more apar**ent/condo type of a**osphere! Everything is walking distance! But you are in the center of downtown so expect the noise from outside to be inside with you!

My kids loved the bunk beds and all the different signs all over the walls. The room was super unique and made our stay fun.
