Hotel MDR Marina del Rey- a DoubleTree by Hilton Reviews

Left do not disturb, holder on door while I went out to grab lunch. Left some valuables inside my room.they went in my room with no regards to the sign, if something had went missing , they would have had a bigger issue. As well when I got back to hotel after lunch. I was locked outside my room for 30 minutes due to doorlock running out of battery. For the inconvenience and lost of time I had before checked out,I requested an additional hour for the inconvenience for my checkout at 1pm and lost of time due to the door lock. They wouldn't even give compensate me the extra time back cause of door issue at first. But then agreed for an extra 30 minutes as I complained more. The morning staff, I found to be not be accommodating and wrecked the experience I had with the hotel. The evening staff were great though

The service is not good, the room arrangement is wrong, the key is that the front desk lied This is disappointing for a brand like DoubleTree by Hilton Ctrip service is still available But the hotel will not stay again

Good hotel, comfortable room... but for the price it could be a little better, hence the rating.

The facilities are a little bit old, but overall it's okay. The hotel restaurant charges you a tip if you pour a cup of coffee for breakfast, which is a bit disgusting.

Relatively clean and hygienic, there are not many choices in the morning, you can eat enough, and the service attitude is OK. Shopping around is convenient.

The service is very good, but some rooms are not good, and they have been changed once or twice. For example, the back of the elevator is very noisy…

We stayed Saturday - Wednesday and never received housekeeping service, despite asking more than 5 times. We couldn’t even get trash picked up or extra towels! We received a moldy pickle with my son’s hamburger at the restaurant.

The was nothing in particular we liked or disliked. Besides the fact we had to wait past check-in for our room was annoying, but other than that.

Aria, Tony & I believe her name was Blanca or Bianca were amazing, friendly always patient and were very attentive.

The hotel lobby, restaurant, pool area are very nice but the rooms need a little TLC. We had an infant and noticed wall sockets falling out. We asked for a room with a tub but didn’t get one (for baby). We also had a pull out chair bed but no extra blankets and pillows. We called and asked for them and they were brought up. Service was great. Extra friendly.

We stayed for 9 days and wanted to be close to my son’s apartment. We were able to walk to his apartment, also to shopping right next to the hotel and also a longer but doable walk to Venice Beach. The room was clean, housekeeping was by appointment. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and aimed to please. I was looking for some thing that was not expensive, but had everything we needed to stay comfortably and they did not disappoint.
