Normandie Hotel is charming, clean and a sweet throwback to old LA. It is located in a great area, and it is convenient to so many places. I highly recommend it. The personnel from Mgr, to Assistant Mgrs were all eager to please. You will be very glad to stay there, for sure. Susan S, Miami

overall service was good, the design was modern, and staff was helpful. Mr. Beymar was very helpful when i complaint about the noise from bar downstairs past midnite throughout the 3 nites, he requested a refund and i got the refund processed smoothly. the valet parking was a bit odd. it was diagonally across the road, and we had to drive it over (instead the valet person picking it up. we could have easily parked ourselves (without having to have a valet person did it for a 5-step away parking and having to give tips). room was a bit tight for 2 people (not much space left for luggages), but overall not too bad.

The facility was old but clean. Because it was old, I could hear footsteps from the floors above, and a couple of people were staying on the floor above me at 3am, so I couldn't sleep for two days, but on the days when they weren't there, it was very quiet. It might just depend on luck. It was good that the station was close, but I was a little worried about using the Purple Line of the Metro from Union Station. There was an Asian supermarket and a convenience store near the hotel, so it was convenient. I asked the front desk about a microwave, and they installed one in the room right away. The staff were very kind. There was coffee service in the morning. You get water when you check in, but there is also a water server where you can boil water. There were no slippers.

The hotel in Koreatown is generally good, not too demanding, and the price is right.

I really like this kind of old hotel abroad. Although small, it has charm, is clean and sanitary, and has a good location.

The feeling of accommodation varies from person to person. Personally, I think this classical Western-style old house looks old, but the facilities and services are actually very good. The location is also very good, located in the center of Koreatown, where restaurants and supermarkets are gathered downstairs; the transportation is convenient, there is a Metro bus at the entrance of the hotel, and the subway station is only a 5-minute walk away. And it feels good.

Because it is a hotel in a historical building, the facilities are antique, but it feels old. The atmosphere is good, but overall it's dark, so if you want a modern feel, this is not recommended.

It was nice that it was not dangerous because it was near the main road in Koreatown. The room was a bit small but clean and good for a night's stay. However, the overall smell of the hotel was a little uncomfortable. Sound insulation was poor.
