Pretty good service. The room is very comfortable provided with many convenient facilities.

Very clean and minimalist-aesthetic! Total of 6 people staying together (2 rooms cuz they didnt really wna sleep on the sofa) and its big enough to accommodate 👍🏻 only downside is its in a quite dangerous neighbourhood (saw someone getting pointed at with a gun)

This is my worst experience ever . I was charged a 250 dollars fee from my account, apparently, they said they’ll have that 250 dollars on hold before I can be given the check in details to check into the room and have it refunded back to my account after 3 - 5 business days after checking out . I saw this 250 dollars taken out of my account , the moment I gave authorization for it to be taken, so I can be given my check-in details , but I never had my money returned . I have waited for about 2 weeks now but still never got back my 250 dollars . They said , the money has been refunded back to my account and I should speak with my bank . I spoke to my bank for a hour plus , multiple times but they said they didn’t see the transaction nor my money being refunded nor released . I spoke with Sonder customer service several times but they kept having me going forth and back with no solution nor have my money returned back to me . This is the worst experience have had when it comes to lodging . I’ll never lodge in such a place ever again and I hope they choke on my hard earned money .

Amazingly comfortable and beautiful. The room was one of the best I had ever been; very spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel seemed to be pretty new; inside the building (the lobby) was beautiful as well. The front desk manager was kind and helpful; we asked to keep our luggage for about 2 hours before check-in and everything went smoothly. The Sonder app was convienient to use and the 24-hour chat service was very well-supported and friendly. The app showed all the information I needed in order to access my room and enter the hotel (+ wifi info). I messaged them a couple days before checkin to ask about the sofabed, and they were very responsive. I also asked for extra sheets & duvet while I was staying, and they came within 20 minutes with everything I needed. (However, the duvet cover came separated with the comforter so I had to put them together myself.) AC, kitchen, bathroom, everything worked well. Yes, DTLA is loud with sirens at night, but I think that's just the location. I didn't bring a car, but parking in the area is very expensive. The hotel does not have its own parking lot.

Of course, it is still unsafe for homeless people to walk around at night, sewage is constantly flowing, tents are everywhere in the city, and urine smells everywhere. It is okay during the day. There is also Whole Foods not far away. I originally only looked at their wine, but this time I found that the supermarket does not sell Coca-Cola products under the pretext of health and environmental protection! !

In Downtown LA, there are homeless people on the surrounding streets. Don't go out at night. This is the city center, with many food and drink shops. It takes five minutes to walk to shake shack and footlocker. It takes ten minutes to walk to a large supermarket and foods market, which sells organic food, vegetables, meat, etc. I wrote that the booking experience was not good because check-in requires a tedious door opening and elevator password, which do not need to be received in advance. I booked through Ctrip and did not receive any relevant emails from the hotel. There is only one hotel’s very long-winded due diligence email. To be honest, it’s quite annoying to write. The room is very clean, cleaner than many B&Bs.
