Hilton Garden Inn Montebello / Los Angeles

With the heat wave that So. Cal. was experiencing, we did a staycation for the Labor Day weekend. First they switched our room so we had no view of the pool, that was the first in a long list of issues. The front desk was about as useless as they come. Not one of the people we spoke to was in anyway helpful, they continued with no answers with every question. The pool was not secure and a child could just walk right in and a trajedy would ensue. Kids were walking through the lobby soaking wet leaving water everywhere and the girl at the front desk didn't even flinch, ny wife and were tempted to say something to these kids because the staff certainly wasn't. Then when we wanted to use the pool one morning the girl at the front desk had no idea when it would be ready while it was being cleaned and didn't even know how to find out where the pool cleaner guy was to ask him. Although the rooms were nice and modern they hardly looked clean. In fact, they looked dingy and damp liked they hadn't been cleaned in a while. When I asked about where to recycle the front desk again had no idea or even seemed to care that I wanted to recycle. Then there's the RAT TRAP that was in our room that my 2 year old picked up and tried to play with. UGGGGHHHHHH!!! Finally, the guests at the hotel looked like they weren't even guests there. I think they just stopped there to use the pool and they were loud and disruptive and again, not a peep from the staff. Our stay was a nightware, if I could give zero stars I would. STAY AWAY from this hotel and go somewhere else. Please !!!
Hilton Garden Inn Valencia at Six Flags

We stayed here after visiting Magic Mountain for the first leg of our mini spring break vacation. This is the second time we stayed here and there will be no third time unless they get new beds. I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my life. The hotel advertises that they have a bar and a restaurant, and they do, but the bar is not really a conventional bar (and it’s not even open!) and the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The hotel is very clean inside and out. I used digital key for check-in and checked-out through the app so I had very little interaction with staff. I did call to get an extra blanket, and later for an extra towel, and I received those items in a very timely manner- however, the blanket was clearly very old and it was scratchy, they could spring for some new blankets. The short and few interactions with staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms have a fridge and microwave. I would stay here in a pinch, but if I had other choices I’d try somewhere else that has a more comfortable bed.

If you are a Hilton gold or Diamond member be sure to ask about the beverage or food credit. Overall stay was very pleasant, great location and some of the best cleanliness I’ve come to experience. I’d definitely stay again.
Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles Marina Del Rey

Venice Beach
Central location in the heart of Marina del Rey. We had a very large room with balcony and partly view of the beach. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and outdoor pool. The yacht port of Marina del Rey, Venice Beach and many restaurants, shops and supermarket are accessible by foot. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, but it is very nice to stay in the garage with $29 per day, especially since there is a cheaper public parking right next to the hotel.
Hilton Garden Inn LAX - El Segundo
