IMPULSIV Hotel & Sportresort

Facilities: It is too complete. This hotel is a sports hotel. Not only the rooms are good, but there are many places worth playing around. There are tolerances, badminton halls, tennis halls, etc., etc., it is really great. The sanitary conditions are very good, adhering to the German hotel habits, much better than many five-star hotels in our country. Needless to say, the environment is not comparable. There are not many service staff, very few, in fact, there are only two people who really see it, but very enthusiastic. I am also happy to help others, I give 5⭐.
Hotel Stadt Lorrach

The stay at the Hotel City Lörrach was overall OK. The rooms are quite new and the sauna area is very beautiful. However, the theme service is not just big in this hotel. Our rooms were partly cleaned only once during the four-day stay. When we advertised this, we received the answer from the Housekeeping “I had a holiday...” The federal police stationed in the hotel did not disturb us, but it was also necessary to take care of, that food is filled with breakfast buffet... Also on our demand, it was called “panny cakes and croissants are no longer available” and it was already 8:30. Maybe there would be a good compensation to provide the sauna for hotel guests free of charge, Similarly, other small things you are habituated with 4 stars houses: bath livers, bottle of water for greeting and so on.
Restaurant-Hotel Maien

Located above Lörrachs with view to Switzerland, this family-run hotel has only 12 rooms, of which we had booked a studio with a bed sofa for three nights. Free parking directly in front of the house made the arrival and departure easy. The room was sufficiently large, individually cut, with balcony and modern furnished. There was a separate bedroom and a lot of stuff room. Unfortunately, the bathroom was only moderately clean, besides the hair left on the ground, the renter disturbed mostly the fungus in the shower fuels. A conception also the sleeping sofa that missed any comfort. The room was also left with the firefighter. The breakfast buffet was not in line with the ads on the hotel website, the selection was rather not rich, the promised salmon was completely missing. Two of three days were offered breakfast eggs of different preparations, one day only cooked eggs. When the buffet was higher, it was only slowly filled. All seems rather unpleasant, very much plastic waste by portion packaging, which goes elsewhere much more sustainable. Service at entry and exit free, in the restaurant though friendly, but not particularly attentionful. A good hotel, with “small mackerel” being fitted with little effort.
Base I Hotel

Huge room, excellent service (manager personally guided us in for the last part of our drive), very nice breakfast, best location in town (restaurants and shops are steps away), secure parking in basement. Look no further when staying in Loerrach.
