It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed.
The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic.
Generally I expected more from the property given excellent rankings but maybe I set totally wrong expectations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel in a lovely little town full of character. There was excellent communication with the owners, Francesca and Carlo, prior to our arrival where I specifically requested a quiet room for my missus, and the room was perfect. So much so that we had really calm, peaceful and relaxing rest every night. Breakfast was free and deliciously prepared. We stayed for 5 days and used this as our base with free parking, visiting Florence (via the train), Siena, Bagni San Filippo and Castello di Ama (on Carlo’s recommendation) all within reasonable distance. We would stay again next time we visit this region.

Hotel well placed in the panorama of Loro Ciuffenna, very kind owners, clean and very comfortable rooms, with underfloor air conditioning system that cools the room very well without the bother of cold air on you. We spent a night with a Smartbox box, you can't choose the dinner included, they have a fixed menu with a starter, a first course and a dessert, drinks not included. Advised.

Found almost by chance (!!) I was overjoyed to sleep for two nights in this place. The owners are really nice people who try to make you feel comfortable. Comfortable, clean rooms. Really recommended for those looking for a clean, elegant location where you can spend a weekend getaway from some big city!! If I can I will definitely go back

I stayed here for just one night and my experience was magnificent, from all points of view. The house is located in the center of a very characteristic village in the Valdarno, Loro Ciuffenna, about 30 minutes from Arezzo and a few km from the landscape suggestive and particular of the Balze. The house is beautiful and well kept, and my room, Emerald, very clean and with elegant and refined furnishings. The breakfast was excellent and of good quality and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Congratulations!

Nestled in an adorable little Tuscan village, Casa Eugenia is an old house full of charm. Everything is beautiful and refined. We stayed in the red room which overlooks the river.
