Ibis Lorient Centre Gare

Hotel under construction, a mess everywhere. Stair access is accessible because the hall is overrun with cardboard. Very limited in terms of security, if it had been necessary to evacuate it would have been mission impossible! The reception looks more like a local grocery store than a 3-star hotel, between the drawings hanging on the wall, the Christmas tree II sits in the ambient ******, the drinks and syrup displayed on the reception counter... not at all welcoming and the souk that you see upon entering the premises does not inspire confidence. This hotel needs an overhaul and does not seem to be managed at all. The employees are overwhelmed, check one takes a long time and the boss who is present watches them struggle without moving a toe to help them. I won't come back for anything in the world!

A 4 night stay in this hotel which is not worth 3 stars. Rather friendly welcome. The room is OK with good bedding and air conditioning, the bathroom is really very small, the shower screen leaks, guaranteed flooding and the cleanliness of the shower leaves something to be desired (black joints with mold). The wifi works very well . Daily housekeeping is very limited. The breakfast is not up to par, stale bread, fruit not ripe or too ripe, we are told eggs... 2 mornings in a row no eggs and obviously the person at reception did not have seeming to be moved by it "my colleague hasn't planned any... but there are sausages!" and the breakfast room is really gloomy (small and dark). The hotel is located a stone's throw from the train station, no parking at the hotel but you can park without too much difficulty in the surrounding streets (free spaces).

Breton breakfast without lace pancakes, not much choice in fruit, yogurts, Anglo-Saxon side no scrambled eggs, no bacon Clean room, quiet and of course great bedding. Very welcoming staff Despite everything, I would not return there

I will never come back again and I do not recommend this establishment. A shame for Accor. The last time I came was a year ago, I enjoyed it and came back. What a mistake ! The reception staff has changed and it seems that the manager has too and the decline is notable. Disgusting hotel, not maintained. Common areas filthy to the point that it does not even respect its customers. Crumbs in the hallways, sticky marks on the tables. Rotten fruit and sour milk on the breakfast buffet. We have the impression of arriving at the court of miracles. Corridors invaded by trolleys, vacuum cleaners, dirty sheets and towels, clapperboards in the middle of the passage. Barefoot floor staff, on the phone with earpieces who cannot hear us. The bar toilets stink, the bins are not emptied and are overflowing... A shame! Olé olé breakfast, Colorful plastic tableware worthy of a kindergarten. Staff overwhelmed alone to serve breakfast, answer phones and check out customers even though there were a lot of people. There would be the possibility of giving a rating lower than 0, I would have done so. This hotel is in total decadence. Flee!!! Several other hotels around which will have no trouble being better.

If I had had network on the train, I would never have stayed in this dilapidated and sad hotel. I trusted the Ibis brand, wrongly. This hotel looks like a youth hostel from the 90s. Needs a good renovation: common areas, room, bathroom. The air conditioning has just been installed but is not yet working. You therefore have to endure the heat with an old, very dirty and inefficient fan. No decoration, guaranteed blues. No catering. The room is nevertheless clean and the helpful welcome from the reception is comforting.
