Absolutely fantastic stay, the owners are extremely hospitable and the food served (both the free afternoon tea and the paid dinners) is very good, also had fun dressing up in the ethnic costumes (flexible on when to borrow the costumes, I tried it on in the evening and when returning them, owner recommended holding on to them for another round of photo-taking in the morning when the light is better). Good location to start walks to the various viewpoints to see the rice terraces and also for the bus service to Dazhai.

Super friendly family owns the hotel. Food was very delicious and price was great. Thumbs up for the cook.
The young staff was always very helpful. One could speak English and assisted us with all our questions. He also helped us to reach the hotel from Guilin.
The hotel took us to Dazhai and waited until the bus departed. Free of charge.
100% recommendable.

Spacious room and nice view from hotel. Afternoon tea served consist of passion fruit juice and local rice wine. Location far from Dazhai parking lot - walked around 30-40mins but owner would offer a ride to their hotel.

I had a wonderful stay, as a solo traveler they made everything they could to make my stay the most pleasant possible, really kind and welcoming people, they will do everything to help you (with great food also !). The location is perfect, you can go by foot on some scenic spots. The room was very clean and cosy (with an amazing view !). I totally recommend.

Stayed in a family room and it was really spacious and has some really lovely details that make your stay special. And the view at the terrace is absolutely amazing. One of the main paths begins right outside the hotel. And there are no steps from the parking to the hotel which really mattered for us traveling with 3 small kids and lots of things. The owners cook delicious Chinese food. We enjoyed every minute here!

Nice hotel with good location close to the rice terrace. Owner very friendly, pickup from bus station was offered. Good value for the price. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast simple but delicious.

Self-driving is very important. You can drive directly to the courtyard of the homestay, saving the pain of carrying luggage on the small road. The boss and his family have a very good service attitude. They take the initiative to help with luggage and make tea for you. The room is clean and spacious. It is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and drink tea and have breakfast. The breakfast made by the boss lady herself was also very good. I left in a hurry, but unfortunately I didn’t have the oil-splashed noodles.
