We arrived and attempted to check in at the bar , I said hello I’m here to check in and the man said ‘wait’ and disappeared, never came back. However another member of staff appeared out of the kitchen and he was lovely , booked us in and took us to the room. Bearing in mind this was way after check in time he still had to move a big load of dirty laundry out the way so we could get in. The best thing I can say about the room is the beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels looked and smelt clean. It was an accessible room and one of the twin beds was electric. The carpet is a disaster , no underlay , very old and didn’t fit well, the room just looked really tired and unclean, there’s no wardrobe just an industrial looking metal fixture with rusty baskets , once the window was opened we couldn’t get it closed again. The bathroom is a wet room but is tired and dirty looking with exposed wiring and a tap whose top kept falling off . There is so much accommodation available around this Dundee area and the price we paid for this stay did not reflect the room at all . Way overpriced . The food states ‘chef ‘ this and ‘chef’ that but is very basic wouldn’t recommend
