Long Hai Hotels with Bars

We just loved this charming resort. The grounds are beautiful, the room was a pleasure to spend time in - clean, open, well-designed, and clearly recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful all the time. We loved the resort restaurant, both the setting and the food, and the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Great pool, nice beach area (though we never really took advantage)...honestly, it's hard to find any fault with this resort. Perhaps the only negative is that the town it is located in has nothing going on for nightlife, etc - just a few rows of local restaurants which were (in our opinion) hardly worth walking to (although one COULD walk to them easily if desired). But that was no issue, as we spent our entire week in the resort just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. We'll be back again!

Disadvantages: The facilities are old, the room lighting is too dark, and the bathroom lighting is darker. Advantages: The swimming pool is a highlight, and there are motorcycles for rent. Let the front desk help call the car at 8 o'clock the next day, but I called at 5 o'clock the next morning.
